finally watched tron ares and i knew it wasn't going to be amazing going in but holy shit nothing could have prepared me for how unilaterally awful that movie was. watched it with my family and the general concensus was Who Let This Get Released we looked like this by the end
#my mum (doesnt remember tron at all) was genuinely angry she'd just wasted those hours LOL#by abt an hour in we were giving up on life and had to take a break to go grab dessert for our sanity#brotes is also a tron fan and agreed that it wasnt just a bad tron movie it was a bad movie like 10000%#also everyone who said the OST saved it lied!! the ost had great songs but they didnt fit the scenes at ALL wtf lol#god. goddamn#we watched tron legacy after to be reminded of peak (and to cleanse the palate)#i yelled I MISS SAM several times during ares LMAO#but oh my god i went in thinking ok ive heard its not great w tron stuff but i'll give it benefit of the doubt maybe it'll be a good movie!#DEAR GOODNESS#i don't like being a hater but i dont think i have anything good to say abt this movie LOL#talk is cheap#self potes-trait#tron ares#tron#AND TRON WASNT EVEN THEREEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
