I'm sincerely disappointed. I can't believe so many of you are laughing at Bob Bryar's death, I'm not saying you should mourn him, or even feel sad about it, but have the human decency of treating someone else's death with minimal respect.
Yes, he was not a good person at all, he was rude and treated people poorly, he was going through terrible shit as well. That doesn't excuse his behavior, of course, but despite everything he was not in a good state, suicidal, extremely medicated, and found dead alone in his house, he'd been dead for a while when he was found, nobody noticed.
No matter what you think of Bob, celebrating such a thing, laughing at it, or being in any way disrespectful makes you no better person than he was.
This is not to defend him in the slightest, but to bring up how disgustingly some of you are being about this. You don't respect him, neither do I, but it gives us no right to mock such an awful situation, and it throws shame on the bands name seeing how their fans are reacting.
The band was there for us when we were alone, even Bob, for a while, was part of what saved our lives and taught us we were heard. Many of the older fans had him when they needed someone the most, and he not only had nobody, but is being made fun of by the fans of people who would understand, and supposedly helped us understand.
My Chem taught us many things, none of which is mocking somebody else's demise, no matter how shitty they were in life. As their fandom, have the decency to honour their name and the things they've taught us; one of which is that hatred gets you nothing good, ever. Nobody deserves to die, much less at only 44.
May he rest in peace, and my condolences on his family's loss.
Tl;dr: Bob Bryar died and some people on the fandom are mocking his death, mcr taught us to do nothing of the sort and it brings shame to their name that their fandom behaves like this. He didn't have any excuse to act as he did, but neither do we to mock anyone's death; hatred is never an acceptable reason.
