Along with a low groan of protest, Jingteng tilted his head back, and covered his face with his hands. The reason wasn’t that he was afraid. Reason wasn’t that he’d feel repelled and lose his sleep over the horrifying pictures, that had rarely been the case. “I’m just not in themood for horror,” he tried again, peeking at the other from through his fingers. It must have sounded like an excuse, as he had never watched scary movies in this companion before. Horror movies, when he felt the need to watch them, were best alone, in dark, where his imagination created half of the atmosphere he was looking for. “Can’t we go for action movies like last time? Do we have Bruce Lee movies left to watch?” Jingteng lowered his hands as he leant over the laptop again, ready to browse another category of movies. Romance would not do any more than horror, today, and possibly never. It was not his cup of tea, and he scrolled quickly past that section in case his friend would disagree with him. “Action? War?”
“Right, that’s what they all say,” Henry kept on teasing the older one, though the laugh that slipped his lips right after indicated that he was just playing around. Leaning back into the couch to sit more comfortably, the man tilted his head to the side to consider the given suggestion. While Henry’s preference in movies is usually something psychological, whether horror or any other genre, there still were a couple of other movies he found entertaining. Action movies were a part of those. “Sounds good to me,” he said, chuckling quietly when he noticed how quickly the other moved past the section for romantic movies. Yeah, that probably wouldn’t be a good choice. “Action. Either Bruce Lee, or ... maybe a Marvel one.” Yeah — those were definitely on top of his preferences as well. “Or, have you seen The Martian yet?”
