Canon date fails

I fumbled date night hard in my God of War tl.

That part in the Valhalla DLC where Mimir tells me to talk to Freya and I said "I don't not think she wants to speak to me" was because I fucked up date night. I don't even remember what I said but we were talking and I said something about Faye that indicated to Freya that I wasn't fully moved on from her so she was giving me space and I thought I offended her and she hated me. But she was giving me time to finish grieving.

I understand now why it was so hard for my father to really identify with and interact with me, he had some idea to the fact I was born godly like he was, and as his godhood was something that brought him so much pain, he struggled with me as an extension of that godhood. He has a daughter before he had me, but he was mortal and so was she at the time. This time he had a son who was not mortal, and he himself was not mortal anymore. As I gained control and understanding, he did too, as well as softening while I hardened in the ways we both respectfully needed to. I understand now, and I don't blame him for anything. I miss you, father. I wish we could talk again, about anything.

for canon disabilities. i don't know if this counts as a disability, but i was cursed with not being able to feel anything whatsoever. no pain, no pleasure, no satisfaction. it was permanent numbness and apathy 24/7. even if i was entirely invulnerable... it drove me insane. it was agonizing. and yet, i was too numb to feel anger. thank you mother, very cool! -Baldur (God of War, 2018)
