Believing in the existence and the idea of the spiritual realm is something not everyone would buy. To the majority, if not all, the Philosophy of Science and the Philosophy of the spiritual aspect are disparate matters. Even then, a number of people persist on spirituality and its ideas of Truth. And, in a world where the methods of Science are constantly practiced, the spiritual truth remains a subject worthy of dismissal.
However, persistence, paired with curiosity, has allowed scientists to discover major breakthroughs. Hence, the continuation of delving deeper into the subject. Fragments of the undiscovered universe’s truth have begun to emerge. Although these truths don’t make enough sense just yet, each one is an identified piece of a grand puzzle we have yet to conceive.
Science and the Spiritual Truth
The disbelief of a subject’s possibilities while studying it blocks any possibilities of scientific breakthroughs. Cynicism makes futile of the study, especially if baseless scientific claims and conclusions negate the hypotheses. However, a true scientist sees to it that the Science of spiritual truth is discovered unless proven otherwise.
Looks of disapproval greet spiritual matters despite putting up a constructive argument about them, supported by the scientific methods. It’s as if the subject has no room for scientific claims. Ironically, this attitude brings great insult to scientific claims now proven to be matters of truth. One must never dismiss a subject if the conclusion arrives at a different result yet leading to a breakthrough. Moreover, the refusal to delve deeper into the breakthrough renders the discovery of more possibilities impossible.
For us to discover truths, we should, at all times, show willingness in conducting an open search for truth. An open mind wanders to unexplored regions of answers deemed fundamental to our existence than a close one. If we persist on cynicism on our search for spiritual truth, we’ll never arrive at answers we have yet to know.
It requires a mind open to possibilities in the endeavor of fundamental truths’ discovery. That is the true way of Science. There is a lot to learn when one studies the Science and the Philosophy of the spiritual aspect. Most of which breeds to interesting hypotheses and theories. If we unravel the mysteries of it, we could potentially solve a lot of problems by utilizing it better than we do now.
