Which part of the game is this from? A journal entry or something?

The quest log was apparently originally written in first person from Link’s perspective, and showed a lot more character depth than what we got when it was translated over into english

Link also "talks" earlier in the game to Illia, when he's ridding Epona. I think it's right before she gets mad and storms off.

Oh yeah…….. it’s so weird how Link has lines that we don’t hear nor that we chose. Even weirder that they did that with a line he presumably would have been yelling... i mean the effect would have been the same had they only had him step forward looking pissed-off, why bother animating his lips for a line we can’t hear.
