Moody Naked People Covered In Glitter, the Movie
I love a good philosophical sci-fi story. I also really, really love interspecies human/alien romance stories. However, even though I'd heard of Starling every once in a while for years now - one of the people I follow on Tumblr is a passionate proselytizer - I never really knew what it was about, and I never had the time or the inclination to change that. When a rec post came across my dash, however, giving me a spiel and a link to a starting point, I figured it was time to check it out.
Some spoilers for the story below.

My parents have this terrible inane party game called table topics where it gives you vacuous ice-breaker type questions on cards that you can pass around to your guests, instead of making normal awkward conversation as god intended.
The good news is that when you use them as black cards they actually improve Cards Against Humanity 1000%.

I realized this a few months ago and it still makes me laugh. “You know, it’s like Easter, but more Jewisher.”
I was going to google image search "Jewish Easter" in the hopes of a cute picture of a bunny celebrating Passover or something but I'm scared of googling ethnic & religious minorities.
BUFFY
The first character I first fell in love with - Spike, which was instantly terrible, followed immediately by Buffy
The character I never expected to love as much as I do now - Cordelia, wow has she aged well, she’s really intimidating with her confidence and femininity and stuff when I was younger but now that I’m older than her she’s amazing
The character everyone else loves that I don’t - Clem is gross and raises a number of serious ethical questions about the show’s universe so let’s say him
The character I love that everyone else hates - I remember some pretty anti-Faith sentiment back in the day, which is sad because Faith is a hot chick with superpowers and the best thing about S7
The character I used to love but don’t any longer - I think we all collectively got to a point in our lives where we realized that Xander was the worst.
The character I would totally smooch - Oh man, Willow and Spike and Giles and Buffy and Spike and Buffy and hell even Angel if he doesn’t talk much. Basically everyone but Xander
The character I’d want to be like - I mean I ask “what would Buffy do” to myself on a daily basis
The character I’d slap - Xander. Like, often.
A pairing that I love - Buffy/Angel/Spike would be so great and so awful. Also I can’t believe it took me like 10 years of being a fan to notice Buffy/Faith
A pairing that I despise - Keep Xander and Riley away from Buffy At All Costs
