Most of the last albums for the previous decade had a certain homecoming feel for their players that we can not really define completely one could probably say. The latter would be correct, though some cases can be quite obvious. I mean, Tosca, Austrian downtempo duo, released Going Going Going, whose intention was to bring us back to their early sound with a patch of updates. While you could consider this to be a retreat from their mercurial nature, one notices this notion is false. Sure, you can recognize their tone, but you also observe their experiences gave them a better perspective on how to apply their idiom. Of course, they have an added caveat of working in their own niche, where such platters rarely signify a strategic withdrawal.

first class last week had a diagnostic test that put me on my ass fr, n I know the lecturer from undergrad and he's the type idk if it's really on purpose but it kind of feels like he's ridiculing us?? maybe more that our fear of seeming dumb is funny to him cause like ofc we wouldn't know stuff but he's always saying stuff like "if you apply some common sense" n stuff so... anyways the test had me down bad n I was like damn... but like.... trying to embrace my ignorance ig? ask the. dumb questions, go out of my way for clarity n just doing my best, it helped in the second class when he was going over the questions n I tried hard to get what I needed so no I'm using the weekend to try and do over the test myself n not be too hard on myself for how long I take on questions cause I how about getting a good grasp of the concepts and stuff before the REAL stuff starts yk... anyways all this to say that's why the side blog is all passion n fighting spirit n stuff today lmao

Tuesday

How many ways did I not want to get up this morning? I’m not going to bother counting.

Today I’m hoping to hit all those things I weaned to do yesterday but did not. Tomorrow, assuming things haven’t changed, in going to spend six hours in a car because a local tech doesn’t seem to have one hour (my boss’ estimation, although what orifice she pulled that out of I have no idea) to fill out an audit form that my boss had suddenly decided needs to get done as soon as possible.

Did I sound like I feel my time isn’t being respected out like it is not being valued as much as the other tech’s time? If so, then good. I was afraid I might be being too subtle.

Going, going, going. At least I am getting some of the stuff that I wanted done done.

More stuff done. Catching up to where I wanted to be today. Soon I will force myself to stop and take a work out break.

The workout did help.  Stayed busy all the way to work’s end.  

Watched last night’s NCIS, Scorpion, and Best Time Ever.
