[EN] Sometimes that’s just how it is. Spring’s here, the sun’s out, the weather’s nice — and yet you’re stuck inside. At work, buried under obligations. Watching the sunshine through bars, knowing you won’t really get to enjoy it — no time, no chance, it gets dark too fast. Not today. Not yet… And life keeps slipping by.

Day by day. Week by week. Years pass, and suddenly you wake up old, hunched over, with back pain and creaky knees. Yet just yesterday, you were a teenager charging out into the world, chasing girls like fresh cherries, with a song on your lips and a grin on your face.

Pulling an all-nighter, hitting every local club, only to greet the sunrise by the lake — for reasons unknown, walking some half-naked girl on a leash. The last beer at the gas station, because honestly, what else is open at 6 a.m.?

Yeah… life has its moments. And sometimes, you just have to look at the sun through the bars.

[PL] Czasami tak właśnie jest. Niby wiosna, niby słońce, niby pogoda. A ty jesteś uwięziony w domu, w pracy, pod presją obowiązków. Oglądasz to słońce przez kraty i wiesz, że nie skorzystasz z tej pogody za specjalnie — bo nie ma czasu, nie ma możliwości, za szybko się ściemnia. Jeszcze nie dziś. Jeszcze nie dziś… i tak mija ci życie.

Dzień po dniu. Tydzień po tygodniu. Mijają lata, a ty budzisz się stary, z garbem, bólem w krzyżu, krzywicą kolan. A jeszcze wczoraj miałeś naście lat i ruszałeś w bój, rwać panny jak świeże czereśnie, z pieśnią na ustach i uśmiechem na twarzy.

Zaliczałeś całonocny maraton po wszystkich lokalnych klubach, a ranek witał cię nad jeziorem, gdzie — nie wiadomo czemu — prowadzałeś jakąś półnagą dziewczynę na smyczy. Ostatnie piwo na stacji CPN, bo co innego, u licha, jest otwarte o 6 rano?

Tak, życie ma swoje różne momenty… i czasem trzeba popatrzeć na słońce przez kraty.
