I’d like to go on record and say that I’v clearly been neglecting my legs as far as workouts go. My upper body never feels as tired as my lower body. What I mean is that nothing is actually in pain, but I can feel in my legs and lower back the impact of all the workout that I’m doing more than in my upper body. Maybe its just because my legs do more work daily (walking, standing, ect)... meh, either way, here’s today’s log :s
100 Jumping Jacks - Not bad
25 Vertical leg crunches - I actually felt this one in my lower abs :3
20 squats - I’m beginning to like these less and less :c
20 Wall pushups - These feel strange to do, but ok, not complanin
50 Russian Twists - At about 30-35, the burn was real in lower back
15 second side plank (l&r) - Pretty straight forward
10 lunge split jumps - Yep, I felt those #noPainNoGain
5 Jump squats - I almost thought I wouldn’t get back up after last one
40 High Knees - Heart rate so high, knees so tired... need water
Summary
Workout was excelent, and despite my tired feeling legs, I still made it through. I really appreciate this exercise routine for making me work my legs so much. I just assumed my legs were good b/c my calfs and thighs were clearly made or steel before I started this routine. Apparently they will be soon made of diamond.
Today’s yoga was ok. I’ll have to admit that the day 6′s “6 pack workout” was a bit much for me. I ended up stopping one of the poses because my lower abs were screaming so loudly. Made it through the rest of the yoga poses. Thanks Adrian for helping me notice that those lower abs are starting to come in. Remember kids, pain and failure are but stepping stones to the path of greatness.
