Pilots of Gold Squadron 

Gold Five:

This unnamed human was serving as part of the fledgling rebellion against the Empire as of 2 BBY. She was a member of Senator Mon Mothma’s protective detail after she was forced to flee Chandrila, flying under the call sign “Gold Five”. 

She fought in the Skirmish in the Archeon Nebula, protecting the Ghost, a freighter carrying Mon Mothma and members of Phoenix Squadron. During the Battle, she deliberately intercepted a shot destined to hit the Ghost, sacrificing her life to save the freighter. 

Following her sacrifice, Mon Mothma was able to escape to Dantooine, and officially formed the Alliance to Restore the Republic.
