Flashback to a couple of days ago. I revisited a gold bud tea @fieldtocup included in one of their subscription boxes. It hailed from the autonomous region of Guanxi, and was made from a small leaf sinensis cultivar, as opposed to an assamica based one. Taste-wise, it was spicy and full-bodied like a Dian Hong Jin Ya, but it had the honey-like texture of a Jin Jun Mei.
