DC's Bombshells Big Barda by Golden Lasso

In the Nov.\Dec. 1951 #50 issue of Wonder Woman there appeared a 12-page story written by Robert Kanigher with art by Harry G. Peter titled, “The Secret History of Wonder Woman’s Lasso.”

It’s narrated half the time by the lasso, as it seems it can think, and half by Wonder Woman reminiscing about getting the Lasso as she and Steve hurtle to their doom after being tossed from the Invisible Plane, and while a fairly long story with it needing to be dipped in magic volcanos and dealing with giant rocs and other things, they still survive.  

It's been said that if Robert Kanigher had not been an editor at DC (specifically Wonder Woman) no one else would have ever bought any of his stories.
