I had a little time to kill before going to the barn 🐴 this week, so I stopped by the now defunct Golden Gate Stables, where I first learned to ride 🐎 in the 80’s. Built in 1939, they have been languishing 🏚 for the past 20 years, waiting for someone to push a restoration funding measure through City Hall. It’s sad to see them in this state but I’m glad that at least they’re still standing.
