so I a Day or Two ago I Yapped to My Mutual About a Crossover of Transformers and Psychonauts, Decided I'ma do Something With That so Here's a Post Compiling all That I got so Far and What I Wanna do. Feel Free to Read My Ramblings

First Things First, Name for the Crossover! I've Actually got a Pretty Good One I Think! I Call it... *drum roll sfx* Psychic Transformations! I Would Tell Y'all My Thought Process, but I Brain does not Have the RAM to Remember That so the Name's all You're Gonna get

Now, onto the Premise! Basically, After Like ~5 Million Years-ish of War and Cybertron is Basically Dead, Bumblebee, Who Currently goes by Goldfire, Ravage, Rumble, Frenzy, Starscream, and Hot Shot all go "Fuck this shit" and Decide to Defect and Leave the Planet. Like ~60 Years Later (i haven't settled on a exact timeline yet) They Land on Earth Sometime After Psychonauts 2 due to Various Complications (which i'll get into in later) and Meet the Psychonauts

of Course, That's Just a Generalization of What I got

now, Cannon is the Sandbox That I Play in and Man the Transformers Franchise has so Much Sand for Me to Play in! Because of That, I'm not Following One Continuity of Transformers, Merely Taking What I Like and Adding My Own Spices

One of These is My Own Designs! I've already Started Doodling Various Sketches on how I'd Like Them to be! and I've Already am Pretty Excited About the Designs! They're very Shape :3

and While I Haven't Thought too Much of the Plot Outside of Backstory and Set Up, I Still Like What I got!

A Quick Rundown of What I'm Thinking of is:

Psychonauts Related Things: Pretty Much the Same as the Game With a Few Headcannons and Ideas Here and There

Goldfire Backstory: After Staying Neutral for most of the War, Goldfire, Then Known as Bumblebee, Joined the Autobots Side as a Scout. being One of the Best, He Made a lot of Enemies, Making the Horrors of War Much Worse. After an Encounter That Left Bumblebee Nearly Dead, Bumblebee Changed His Name to Goldfire. His Name wasn't the Only Thing That was Changed, Though. Now Goldfire now Has a Limp and Always Wears His Battle Mask and Rarely Talks, as Talking is Now Incredibly Hard Mentally and Physically

Ravage Backstory: Ravage Grew Up in Kaon With Her Make-Shift Clan With Laserbeak and Buzzsaw. Living as Bestformer Minicons wasn't Easy Anywhere, Especially Kaon Where Practically Everyone but the Wealthy Went Hungry. But They Made do. One Day, Though, Ravage Happened Upon a Young Soundwave and Ravage Decided to Become His Mentor, as no Protoform Could Survive Long on the Streets Alone

Rumble and Frenzy: Born During the Autobot-Decepticon War, Life was Never Easy for These Two. With the War going on, Most Hotspots That Newsparks Develop in Die Before They Could Become a Protoform, and the Ones That Survive Have a Multitude of Health Issues Due to Lacking Materials in the Hotspots. for Rumble and Frenzy, Their T-Cogs Were Malformed, Resulting in Them Perminately being Protoforms, Never to Gain an Alt-Mode. Thankfully, Soundwave Happened to Find the Young Twin-Sparks Shortly After They Emerged, so They hadn't Need to Worry About Finding a Mentor to Raise Them

Starscream: Born Cold Constructed Shortly After Most Hotspots have Dried Up, They Were Forced to be a Footsoldier in the Decepticon Ranks the Moment They Came Online. Quickly Gaining Ambition and Skill, Starscream Rose in the Ranks to Air Commander and Second in Command. Though, Megatron, the Leader of the Decepticons, was Far From Kind. it all Came to a Head One Day and Starscream Couldn't Take Any More, so They Defected to the Autobots Side... Much to Megatron's Ire

NOTE: I HEADCANNON STARSCREAM AS USING THEY/THEM PRONOUNS

Hot Shot: Like Starscream, He too was Cold Constructed After Most Hotspots Dried Up, but Unlike Starscream, He was a Scout for the Autobots. After Butting Heads Many Times in Battle, Hot Shot Gained a Deep Rivalry With Starscream, Determined to Best Them. When Starscream First Defected, Hot Shot was Incredibly Wary. After a While, Though, the Two Became Great Friends... Maybe With the Potential of Something More? Either Way, They've Practically Become Inseparable

Why did the Cybertronians Landed on Earth: the Ship They Were on was Very Rundown, and While it did get Them Far, it was Giving Out. Starscream also Had a Few Untreated Injuries That Had Developed a Nasty Rust Infection, Something That Needs More Supplies to Deal With Than They Currently Have. Not to Mention, While on Their Journey, Goldfire's Spark had Budded a New-Spark, a Rare Phenomenon That Happens Only a Few Million Years or so (though noticeably it's more common when the cybertronian is not on cybertron), and the New-Spark is Due to Emerge Any Day

Potential Shit That Gonna Happen: There's no Way no One is going to Notice This Ship Landing, so Obviously the Psychonauts go to Investigate (got to make sure no one is endangering the world... again). The Cybertronians go Out and Scout the Area for Any Danger, Which is Reasonable Considering They've Been in a War for 5 Million Years. Not Sure Who Yet, but not Goldfire or Starscream Due to Their Conditions, but One of the Cybertronians is Discovered.

Depending on Who, There'll be Differing Reactions on the Cybertronian Side. I'd Imagine if it's Ravage, She'll do Threat Assessment on the Psychonauts, but Would not Directly Interact With Them Unless Absolutely Necessary. Hot Shot Would Like not Pay Them Any Mind... Until He Sees Those Psychic Powers. of the Four Scouting the Area, Hot Shot Would be the Most Friendly. Rumble and Frenzy, I not Sure how'd They'd React to the Psychonauts, Likely in Some Mischievous Way Though

Now, on to Side Psychonauts Reactions!

as Most People Know, in Rhombus of Ruin We Learn That Sasha Really Likes the Idea of Aliens Scientifically. the Cybertronians are Aliens. Once He Learns This, I'm Sure This Man Will be the Most Excited Anyone Could be, but I Think it Might Take Some Time for Him to Note That the Cybertronians are Alien, Due to Cybertronians being Technology Based Life-Forms Rather Than Organic. Either Way, He'll Have a Field Trip

Also, He has the Opportunity for a GREAT Arc With Starscream. One Tidbit on Starscream, in Quite a Few Iterations Starscream has a Scientific Background. in This AU, During the War Starscream Tinkered With Science in His Freetime, but Never Really got to Really Pursue This Passion of Theirs Due to, Y'Know, the War. so Sasha can Take Starscream as His Student!

and Milla. When I was Thinking of This and My Versions of the Transformers, When I Made Most of Them Quite Young for Cybertronians, I hadn't Considered Milla's Backstory. I also did not Think on What the Two Adults of the Cybertronians being Parents/Mentors (ravage with soundwave, goldfire with the unborn newspark) Would Interact With Milla

I'm Changing Nothing, let Milla Adopt Them/Help With Parenting. Though I do Have Some Fun Ideas, Like Milla Introducing Art to Starscream. I Remember seeing a Few Fanfics With Starscream With Some Artistic Ability, and I Like it so I'm Stealing That Idea. I'd Also Imagine Milla Would Remind Rumble and Frenzy of Soundwave, With Her Motherly Traits and Connection to Music

Also, Rumble and Frenzy Would Definitely Show Up as DJs on Morris' Radio Show. Once the Cybertronians get Settled on Earth, I'd also Imagine Those Two getting into all Sorts of Trouble

Also, I've Been Thinking on How to Connect the Cybertronians With the Psychic Powers of Psychonauts, and I Think I've Come Up With Something Delicious >:3. so, Cybertronians Run on This Thing Called Energon, Which is not That Defined and Often Depending on the Iteration the Color can Vary Wildly. (in my version, it's a glowing cyan blue that when refined into pure form is a glowing hot pink) Anyways Generally it's Treated as Food/Blood/General Powersource, Sometimes With Other Things to it

Yeah, Psychonauts Fans That don't Know Shit About Transformers, Energon Really is a Jack of all Trades Substance

Anyways, in Psychonauts, There's Psychoactive Minerals That can Effect Minds. the Two Minerals We've been Given are Psilirium, a Glowing Yellow Rock That can Seriously Mess With Psychic Powers, and What is More Important to This, Psitanium, a Purple Glowing Rock (transformer fans i think you know where i'm going with this) That can Amplify Psychic Powers

Now, in the Transformers Series, Where Have I Heard of Something Simliar? oh You Know, DARK ENERGON? Well, it isn't %100 1:1, as Psitanium can't bring the Dead Back to Life, but This is My Story, I get to do What I Want. oh Yeah, for Y'all Who don't Know What Dark Energon is, it's Like, the Blood of Unicron (not unicorn) Who's Basically Robo-Satan and Opposes the Cybertronian God Primus, of Which Energon is the Blood of His

as Fun as Those Two being Real, Like Other Iterations, in This AU I'm More Leaning on Those Two Just being Mythological in Nature, but I Digress

so Basically, I'm Thinking Energon is a Psychoactive Mineral Like Psilirium and Psitanium, Though Cybertronians don't Really Notice This Considering They Literally Eat it. I'm Thinking That This Would be Interesting as Hell for Sasha and Otto

Perhaps a Few Deposits of Energon is on Earth and Only Recently Been Discovered? Psichite, the Name Humans Gave Energon (temporary name, if i or someone else comes up with something better, it shall be replaced), has Stabilizing Effects on the Psyche, Unlike Psitanium That When Introduced to Someone Unstable, Makes Them Even More-so. Maybe Those Effects Made it HArd to Detect Until now, and Maybe Those Effects Make it When Psichite and Psitanium Interact They Have a Volatile Reaction...
