Wally had been walking laps around the track. The weather had remained sunny and pleasant - he was perfectly comfortable in his t-shirt and jeans. He relished in the clean air, a luxury that hadn't been available to him back in Petalburg City. One of the most prominent pros of attending Gakuen was the fresh air; even still, running was out of the question. More athletic students ran circles around him (literally), but he didn't care. 

It was nice to just spend some time out of class and out of his dorm room, sort out his thoughts before the weather turned cold and snowy. 

He checked his watch - he'd been outside for an hour. He ought to return and finish his homework. He sighed heavily and started back to the school.

On his return, he passed an unfamiliar face, a seemingly flirtatious boy eyeing up a gaggle of girls across the walking path. Curiously, Wally turned around - perhaps to be friendly...and maybe also to pick up on how to talk to females properly. 

"Uh, hi there," Wally began, cheerfully. "...Sorry to bug you, but I just wanted to introduce myself. I'm Wally. And you are...?"
