leaping from & sliding down tall buildings is def. the best way to get around the city xD
usually I dread drawing pictures with a lot of background, but think I’m starting to grow into it... anyway - some goldstreik + city ambience pics + attempts to get perspectives right xD...
...it’s weirdly hypnotic to me^^
oc Goldstreik ‘vibe’ gif, idk what else to call it...
Hello, dear! You've been visited by the random character question fairy! :D ~☆
Some say that vulnerability fosters closeness - is this true for your character? Do they see disclosure as a weakness, or as a gift?
Hello there^^ Thanks for the visit!
Good questions. If I’d go with Goldstreik, I had to go with weakness or at best a mixed blessing.
Think I already wrote that she has an aloof character - but her view on the vulnerability a. sadness is rather distorted, to a point there it acctually triggers her to become upset or furious, if she can’t conceal/’banish’ it. She was drilled to ignore physical a. emotional distress, which is deeply rooted in her mind-set and became her way to cope. That’s why she has a hard time to condone strongly emotional behavior and display of vulnerability for herself or others. And if she says something like ‘Getting emotional doesn’t help/Won’t solve the situation’, it’s a truth to her, based on her harsh life experiences. Guess that is directly tied to her mostly avoiding closeness and attachment in general. That being said, while trying to evade it, she would agree that vulnerability shapes closeness, if she likes it or not - since the persons she feels most close and loyal to, are those who helped her in a vulnerable moment - which as disturbing as it was for her self-perception also made her feel grateful and protective towards them. But that remains a lesson she has to work on.
thx a lot for the ask! It’s always a lot of fun having a chance to just ramble on^^ Have a wonderful day!
