Over 2,000 followers! Time to give this a bit of a refresh.

Anyway, I'll reintroduce myself. Hello! My name is Ben, I'm non-binary (they/them pronouns), and I'm a British-born writer, comedian and occasional voice actor living in Los Angeles.

In 2023 I released the first season of Jump Leads, which is an audioplay reboot of a webcomic I created back in 2007. The second season premiered in October 2025. I'm also a player in the actual-play podcast Good Chaotic.

In the game dev space, I'm a Consultant Producer for Worms: The Director's Cut, the last version of the original Worms released for the Amiga. I was also a consultant on Worms Armageddon Anniversary Edition, and I worked on a handful of other Worms games in various capacities. I've taken to referring to myself as the unofficial Worms Historian.

Previously, I did a little YouTube show called PortsCenter which was reasonably popular for a while. I also co-wrote a Left 4 Dead parody YouTube series called Boomer's Day Off, and a six-episode Doctor Who parody called Dalek Gary. It's about a Dalek named Gary.

I was the GM for the first three seasons of the Doctor Who Roleplaying Game actual-play podcast The Game of Rassilon, and was a player for seasons 4 and 5. I also DM'd Hot Quest for Filmjoy, which was my first and, to date, only paid DMing gig - a lifelong dream!

What else? I co-hosted Out On Her Fanny: A Podcast About The Nanny with my wife, though that's currently on hiatus. My friend Alys and I used to do a podcast called The Life Toyetic about movies based on toys or games, and we reviewed a Barbie movie every 5 episodes.

I have a Patreon, and I'm holding steady at around $80 a month. I'd love to cross the hundo mark someday.

I'm queer, I'm married, I'm disabled, I'm huge Doctor Who nerd, and I have very strong opinions about cheeseburgers (short version: the brioche bun has single-handledly ruined the American dining experience).

Jerry Lewis being an absolute star and on point during Shake-A-Hand performed to the style of the Big Band.

...highlights include:- Jerry purposefully going off-beat when dancing, sneakily helping Dean when he forgets his lines, screeching ‘GO DEANIE BOY!’ excitedly when Dean sings in a Blues style, being Dean’s biggest fan, pretending to get tired half way through, ad-libbing ‘I’m very tired now’ when the mic fails to work momentarily and going wildly off-piste with his lyrics// making Dean nearly cry with laughter, clowning physically whilst still managing to stay in perfect rhythm to the music and involving the audience making them howl with laughter and leaving them rolling in the aisles...
