I’m HoH! Or sometimes I just say medically deaf to explain more. I’ve been deaf for like 12 years and signing for 6. That sounds amazing! Definitely follow through with that! Gallaudet is an amazing school!

Indeed! I caught that also. I love Wispmothers, and a prompt from a friend got me into trying to resolve all the mystery surrounding them! Basically, the biggest thing I've found outside of the major book about Wispmothers so far? The Pale Lady. The book "Lost Legends" states this...

"For generations, the people of Morthal have told whispered tales of the Pale Lady, a ghostly woman who wanders the northern marshes, forever seeking her lost daughter. Some say she steals children who wander astray, others that her sobbing wail strikes dead all those who hear it. But behind these tales may lie a kernel of truth, for ancient records speak of 'Aumriel', a mysterious figure Ysgramor's heirs battled for decades, and finally sealed away."

Now, we know for definite that the Pale Lady is a Wispmother, whom was sealed away in Frostmere Crypt. We also know that Ysgramor and his protege actively hunted and slaughtered the Falmer for years after the Battle of the Moesring, for the final Falmer sightings on the surface happened during King Harald's reign (1E 143-221) - Hundreds of years after the Battle of the Moesring, even by the latest estimates of its timing. Is it so far a stretch to assume that this very Elven named lady whom terrorised the early humans of Skyrim was, perhaps, a female Falmer? And this is before the physical similarities are taken into account... Look at a Wispmother's teeth and claws, and then at a Falmer's mouth and claws. They are nigh on identical! I love Falmer. Can you tell?
