📖✨ In all fairness to the book, I like the fact that the character the readers would suspect isn’t the villain that awaits at the end. Sadly, there are lots of huge holes in the plot, almost all the characters were unlikeable, the complications were unrealistic, and overall, it wasn’t as suspenseful as it means to be. 📖✨ Julie returned at their very doorstep after years of being abducted. It was supposed to be a great reunion until a few weeks later when they weren’t so sure if it was really Julie who came home. That’s such a promising run-through, isn’t it? Sad to say, it wasn’t as satisfying as I thought it would be.
