Katara strode the great halls of the firenation kingdom with awe. Everywhere you looked there was a threshold of expensive fancies that were both pleasing and intimidating.

She stopped at the end of the hall she walked, looking up at the giant portrait of the Firelord Zuko. He wore clothes suited for a king, his hair pulled back into a tight bun on the tipe of his head, the royal crown pinning it in place. In the portrait he sat regaly upon the thrown his predecesor had to be forced out of, and to Katara, he looked completely untouchable in that photo. No longer the friend who had traveled with her, but now the king who was in charge of an entire country.

It had been a long while since Katara had seen Zuko, the banished prince, and the last time she had she'd told him goodbye. Now, looking up at the painting, it seemed years ago.

After the end of the war, Aang and Katara had decided they weren't for eachother. Aang was always flying off to take care of Avatar buisness while Katara traveled from village to village healing wounded souldiers and sickly children. Eventually they had called it off with good will and a promise to always stay friends. Now her travels had led her here, to the firenation. And without real thought, she had decided that a visit would be nice while she was still around.

Still her stomach twisted in knots and she pressed a hand to her arm to cool her nerves.He's still your friend, she reminded herself,He's still Zuko.

Advice || For any Zuko's

All the past Avatars had one sole duty, once they had passed into the Spirit World. Regardless of whatever else they chose to spend their time doing, when the current Avatar called, they had to come, to answer their questions as best they could, and provide advice as it was needed.

Usually, only the most recent Avatar had to deal with this, but sometimes, in times of great need, Avatars from further in the past would be called forth to share their wisdom.

So when Kyoshi felt the strong pull of Aang calling her spirit into the physical world, she was prepared for the worst. The last time she had been called, the fate of the entire world had hung in the balance.

But she was surprised, when her spirit formed in the physical world, to find that the person she was facing was not Aang, but rather Fire Lord Zuko, bowing before her.

"Avatar Roku couldn't help us. Kyoshi...please," Aang said from behind her. 

Kyoshi huffed, annoyed at being called forth to help someone other than the Avatar. But this man was a close friend of Aang's, and not only that, but also closely tied to the balance of the world. Though she was not required to help him, she could show generosity...this time.

"Rise and speak, Fire Lord Zuko."
