I will always unlock my door for you
My mom knocked on my door. I opened the door and invited her in. She sat down on my bed. I told her not to put her butt where I put my face. She moved on the other side of the bed. Where my 50lb curl bar was sitting.
She had a pale look on her face.
I told her it’s important that I stand up for myself, by being vocal. Because if I don’t the world will try to change me. My mom, my dad, my girlfriend, they will all try to change me. Therefore, it’s important that I stand up and stay down for what I believe in... no matter what, no matter what doubt I face, from myself or others. Or no matter anything else...
She said she’s learned from me, during this time...
I told her that I feel I am constantly under a microscope because I went crazy in UC Davis...
She looked at me and she said to stop right there. I NEED TO GROW UP. I DO. THAT’S MY IGNORANCE. (God is so beautiful.)
She gave me a warm hug, looked me in my eye, and said be you, Son, be you.
