Help - Chrome is being a pain.
I need help! If anyone can help, it would be great cause trying to find anything online is being a nightmare.
So recently my Chrome won’t work. I click on it, it comes up then it shuts down. No matter what I can’t get it to stay up at all.
Another thing is - it hadn’t been syncing lately, everytime I tried to sync it, it would shut down then when I brought it back up, it said there was an error in syncing so I’m not sure if this is connected.
Another thing when I bring it up, it says the page didn’t shut down properly but I don’t have any option to remove it. It stays there even after uninstalling it.
I have looked online but everything everyone suggested doesn’t seem to fix my problem. I have tried rewriting the code. It says to delete a certain part of the code yet that doesn’t work because I don’t have that word in my code.
I have tried to force shut it down, but it’s not up as working.
I am nearly enough at my wits end. I just don’t even know why it stopped working. It worked fine on Friday morning at 4.30 am before I shut down my laptop for the night and when I booted it back up at 4.30 pm, it just kept shutting down.
If there anyone who knows of a way to fix this...annoying issue I have, that would be great!
EDIT - I sorted it...somehow. I guess just randomly clicking works after all...*sighs*
I’m going to sleep, I’ve been up for 19 hours and clearly I need the sleep.
Catch you in the flip side!

Lucina: *Groans and facepalms*

Me: HOLY SHIT!!? CHROM IS THAT YOU!!!?!? Chrom: Of course I am you stupid bastard. Me: OMFG!!¡!¡!

How to Always Open Google Chrome in Incognito Mode Windows 10
Setting up Incognito mode as the default tab on Google Chrome is not that complicated at all. If you want to make Google Chrome always open incognito mode for you, then you have entered into the right room. In this article, you will learn how to open Chrome in Incognito all the time. The instructions we are providing in this article are designed for Windows 10 but can also work on previous versions, be it Windows 7, 8, or 8.1.
This isn’t surely an effortless process since Google has provided no official method or settings for opening Incognito mode on Chrome as the default tab. Instead, we are going to do some really crazy techy stuff here that will set Google Chrome to open Incognito mode forever.
The instructions provided in this article are surprisingly easy to understand, no matter how much prior knowledge you possess about computer technology. All you have to do is stick to our guidance in this article.
So what’s the wait? Let’s get in…
Why Put Incognito Mode as Default Tab on Chrome?
By default, the Google Chrome web browser keeps a tab on you. It tracks everything you do on the internet from searching random phrases to browsing private sites that might be inappropriate for others to see. You might don’t want to let other people know what sites you browse, such as social media, even though you are officially not old enough.
On Incognito mode, it gets too easy for you to browse anything and visit any site without getting your online activities tracked in History. When you use Incognito mode on Chrome to browse the internet, it is not tracked in the History section of your browser, so nobody sees what you browse.
However, opening Incognito mode every time when you browse could be exhausting. You may want to know a feature that allows you to always open incognito mode on Google Chrome. This will also allow you to avoid the chances of accidentally using the general tab that could be fatal.
Hence some users need this thing to always open without any manual interactions.
Here’s How to Always Open Google Chrome Incognito Mode
Follow these simple and easy to understand instructions to make this happen:
On your computer, press the Windows + D key at the same time to make sure that you are on the home screen.
Now press the right click on Google Chrome’s shortcut icon located on the desktop.
If the Chrome icon is not there on your desktop, just find it in the Start menu and make a right-click on it.
Then, press on Properties.
The Properties window should show up on the screen.
Then, click on the Shortcut tab from the upper menu.
Now find the “Target” text box, which already has a file directory address.
The “Target” dialogue box has to stuff something like this:
“C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe”
Once you find it, click on its text.
Now make sure you don’t change anything to it mistakenly.
Ensure to keep your typing cursor at the end of the text.
Now hit the Spacebar key on your keyboard at once.
Then put in “-incognito” using your keyboard.
Make sure that it appears like this:
“C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe” –incognito.
Once that is done, make sure to press the Apply button on the bottom.
Then hit the Ok button to keep the changes.
Now all your settings are saved safely, and your job has been done successfully. From the next time on, whenever you will click the Chrome icon, it opens the Incognito mode automatically rather than opening the general tab.
From now on, you can carelessly browse anything without taking anxieties.
That’s how it goes…
We hope this tutorial helps you out, and you are successfully able to achieve what you were looking for in this article.
