the way merlin likely always expected to be the first to die, never thought too much about his death or the risk of dying because he never questioned how it might end. To him it was obvious: he would die saving arthur's life.

And then Arthur ended up dying long before his time and merlin did not die before he did and suddenly merlin was faced with a reality he'd never even considered possible up until he learned of the prophecy. A life without his king. Surviving Arthur.

Imagine that shock of something you'd never even considered possible on top of the death of your best friend. It's not just that he lost Arthur but that his entire world turned upside down.

Merlin always expected he'd die for his King. He'd thought it a fact. A fixed point in time.

I kinda have a feeling that Uno likes to touch hands with his friends in any way, whether he was comforting them or just for fun. so i unfortunately decided to start a series of Uno with each one of his friends interacting while showing his love and affection for them through his hands. For Nico, i thought that Uno enjoys intertwining their pinkies together. he actually enjoys holding hands with his friends in all forms tho.
