HARDBALL: Scott Presler Takes Aim at Thune’s Slush Fund
The grassroots aren't waiting for 2028. Scott Presler is officially launching a ‘methodical campaign’ to dismantle Senate Majority Leader John Thune’s influence by targeting his war chest and his allies.
The catalyst? The failure to pass the SAVE America Act! Presler is calling on patriots to hit the establishment where it hurts: the wallet.
The Battle Plan:
>The Refund Revolution! Presler is urging donors to request refunds from the NRSC, the Senate Leadership Fund, and "squishy" establishment candidates, via WinRed.
>Target Thune’s Allies! Since Thune isn't up for re-election until '28, the strategy is to primary his allies. The targets are set. Defeat Bill Cassidy in Louisiana on May 16. Then elect Ken Paxton to take down John Cornyn in Texas on May 26.
>The "McDaniel" Model! Drawing a parallel to the ousting of Ronna McDaniel, Presler warns that the clock is ticking for Leader Thune:
"Take away their ability to protect themselves... meticulously and with methodical precision, take down his allies."
The message to the Senate GOP leadership is loud and clear: “Deliver on the agenda, or the grassroots will defund and replace your support system.”
