Pretty standard night, all things considered, but Kristen ends up on high alert making sure that Gorgug doesn’t need his hoodie back. Which means when his gaze starts lingering on someone on the field, she takes notice. When his heart rate spikes when someone waves up at the bleachers, and he waves back half-heartedly, his cheeks a slightly darker green than they normally are, she notices that too.

Gorgug notices a lot of things. Kristen likes to notice things about him too.

the thistlecaster discord server can be found here! we have a FANTASTIC crew of some crazy talented people, so i'll probably put the highlights here as enticement.

alsooo, we are hesitantly beginning to plan a thistlecaster zine! it won't be run during d20 zine jam unfortunately, but that's because i simply don't think i would have the time to collect it that fast—until further notice, the temporary end date for submissions is oct. 3, but keep an eye out for any new info upcoming :)

“What are you doing here?” Gorgug asked, an amused smile back on his lips once Fabian realized his dire mistake. “It’s my bed?” This was his house too, he could sleep whenever he wanted. If that happened to be in the same bed as Gorgug then so be it.  “That’s fair,” Gorgug nodded, but he wasn’t finished. “What am I doing in your arms, then?”

thistlecaster hadestown au can anyone hear me. i don’t know who would be more heartbreaking as who but i know with absolute certainty either of them would turn around. fabian would always have the gnawing doubt that gorgug would be happier somewhere else and it would eat him alive and he would have to check to make sure gorgug was there and then lose him forever. gorgug would go to the ends of the earth to find fabian and would bring back spring and more but what if fabian is too good for him and he didn’t actually want to come back with gorgug so gorgug would have to turn around and see. they’ll lose each other a thousand different ways and the story always changes a little but never enough. never never enough. maybe that’s the tragedy of it all. can anyone hear me. are you behind me. i am afraid i will have to turn around

Do you think that during the summer after junior year that Gorgug would practice Bloodrush with Fabian still?

honestly??? yeah! i think so

gorgug was fucking great at bloodrush so fabian would get him to practice here and there, which is half serious practice and half flirting and making out on a field or something but hey it works. they throw themselves at each other, and it's a crazy rush for fabian to have his bf, half-orc barbarian be unafraid to throw himself with all his strength at him.

lots of tension but still great practice for him, he's thirlled to have gorgug around for those moments bc he does miss him on the field and in the lockers

for fabian/gorgug i have two:

gorgug with long enough hair to teach fabian how to braid

switching owlbears jackets (fabian specifically gets his a size or two bigger so they can switch)

boys with long hair!!! but yes and honestly can see it either way honestly. they'd play with each others hair a lot so there would be a lot of braiding. gorgug probably more adept due to how nimble his fingers get with artificing

and yes on switching the jackets!! even clothes in general, fabian isnt that much smaller than gorgug so it works out he just has to get used to wearing stuff a bit bigger than he's used to (i see fabian as someone who truly does wear mostly form fitting clothing, just as his style and him being a dancer)
