I was walking out of Receiving at work today and the Dairy section is right next to the Receiving door, so when I walked out I saw my boss, a short skinny middle aged man, tucked inside the milk refrigerator talking to the Dairy manager who was unpacking boxes on the other side. This was quite alright with me, as I know that the milk refrigerator actually extends behind the shelves and has a door to get in through receiving; However, the poor little old lady getting her half and half didn't, and was staring, dumbfounded, at what seemed to her like a random, short middle aged guy in business casual having a conversation with a gallon of milk.
It's the little things that really make working in a grocery store bearable.
