On the 2D and punk s/o 4 sounds really cool!
(WARNING SOME SWEARING IN CASE ANY OF YOU GUYS DON’T LIKESWEARING OR SOMETHING)
You should have been used to it by now. The rude commentsfrom 2D’s fans, the odd looks from people on the street
“I can’t believe 2D would get together with someone like that.” People would shake their heads indisapproval, and often times you’d find yourself changing your look a littlebit, whether it was changing your hair, wearing long sleeves to cover yoursleeve tattoos, taking out your removable piercings to make them lessobvious…you noticed yourself becoming a little more self-conscious about yourlooks…
You stared at yourself in the mirror, now with your tattooscompletely covered, your ear piercings removed, and your clothes blandlycolored with bright pastel colors—
“Wha’ are you doin’?” 2D asked, sitting cross-legged on thebed, watching you.
“Just getting ready to go out.” You replied dismissively. 2Dtilted his head to one side.
“…You don’ usually dress like tha’…” he commented, gettingup slowly.
“No yeah…I’m trying something new, you know? Changing thingsup.”
“At least roll up your sleeves.” 2D insisted, leaningtowards you. “I like your arm-art. S’beautiful.” He reached towards your shirtsleeves, but you swatted away his hand.
“Not today, Stu!” You snapped, crossing your arms. He gaveyou a startled look before leaning back away from you, suddenly silent.
“If this ‘s abou’ wha’ people are saying—“
“No, it’s not. It’s a personal decision. It’s fine.” Youforced a smile, moving closer to him until you could hold his hand. “I don’tcare what they say about us, honest.”
You’d noticed yourself hiding more than usual, trying tolook more…innocent maybe. Anything to make them shut up.
You were scrolling through the internet by accident whenyou’d stumbled upon a new hot-topic in the fan group of Gorillaz. The web pagewas titled “2D is being ABUSED by (Y/N): PROOF!” You scowled, looking around tomake sure that nobody was around before you clicked the link and startedreading through the article.
There were mentions of 2D’s questionably abusive friendshipwith Murdoc. “His weak, submissive personality attracts emotionally andphysically abusive people, and just look at (Y/N). The tattoos, the piercings.(Y/N) is an unstable person. Just look at her!” You scrolled through numerouscomments in agreement, with only a lone few on the page who voiced theirdisagreement. There were pictures of 2D with bruises and scrapes, and you knewthe story behind each one. 2D drunkenly stumbling over the night table, tryingto ride your motorbike (and failing, falling face-first onto the pavementoutside), Murdoc throwing a shoe at him in the studio. You knew that none of itwas true, but seeing all those people convinced that you were abusing Stuart, your beloved Stu-Pot, the man who you’d do anything for, the man you cared for, your blood boiled.
“Hey Stu? Sweetheart?” you called loudly. His voice repliedfrom somewhere upstairs.
“When’s the next concert? I’m going.” You shut the laptopand set it on the coffee table in front of you.
“Ehh…Sat’uh’day?” he replied, clearly confused. “I f’oughtyou had work.”
“Not anymore, I don’t.” you muttered under your breath, making your way decisively up the stairs to your room and immediately walkingtowards the drawer where you’d put your tank tops and discarded earrings.

There were hundreds, if not thousands of people swarming thestage, cheering and screaming at the tops of their lungs, waving their phonecameras in the air as 2D smirked behind the microphone.
“Eh…f’ank you, ev’ryone.” He peered backstage at you, grinning. You nodded, and he turned back to the audience, smiling more widely.“You know…(Y/N) is actually here t’night…come on out ‘ere, love.” You strodeonto the stage, flaunting your sleeve tattoos, your arms completely exposed, aswell as the tattoos on your legs. Your earrings were all in, the chainsglinting and shining under the stage lights. As you walked towards 2D as if youwere walking a catwalk, you could barely even hear the audience’s reaction.Frankly, you didn’t care, either. As soon as you reached him, you grabbed thecollar of 2D’s shirt and pulled him towards you for a long, affectionate kiss.Your ears were ringing as people cheered and whistled at the two of you. 2D’sface turned bright red. You pulled away and snatched the microphone from thestands…and the crowd quickly fell silent. You glanced around at the faces inthe crowd, watching you expectantly…and you took a nervous, shivering breathin.
“I’m guessing you all know who I am?” the crowd shoutedtheir agreement, some waving their hands enthusiastically. “Yes, hi. I’m (Y/N).2D and I have been dating for a while now. We’ve moved in together, in case youdidn’t know.” The cheering grew louder. “And I know that there’ve been somerumors about me circulating the internet. Some…really bad rumors.” The crowdfell silent again…watching you. “I’ve got a message to send to all the peoplewho have contributed to those unfavorable rumors—if there are any children in theaudience…cover your ears.” You gave the audience a few seconds to react beforepulling the microphone very close to your lips and saying…rather loudly- “FUCKyou!” you stuck your middle finger in the air. “Stuart and I are very happytogether, and nothing you say can change that. I AM a punk! So what? Thatdoesn’t make me less of a person! I do have loads of tattoos. So fuckin’ what?!I think that they’re real’ attractive, an’ they make me who I am! I know I’mnot a dainty little flower or anything like that. I’m well aware, thank youvery much! You know what I’m going to do now?? I’m going to ask you to takeyour damn nasty opinions and shove them up your asses! Because I am (Y/N), andI love who I am! I love how I look and I love 2D! And guess what? He loves me,too!” you dropped the mic dramatically and stood there awkwardly, the wholecrowd (plus 2D and Murdoc and Noodle and Russel) gaping at you in shock. Youstood there in the silence for a few extraordinarily awkward moments beforequickly picking the microphone back up. “I’m so sorry for the language that waskind of uncalled for, I admit it. Sorry! Sorry.” You dropped the microphonemore carefully, making sure not to break it— then the crowd started cheering. There were fists pumping in the air, shouting and screaming. 2D smiled at youand leaned closer to your face, practically shouting in your ear so you couldhear him.
“You know, if this was what all that was about, I could’asaid it myself.” He said, laughing. He turned as if to make sure the two of youwere still being watched—and videoed—and kissed you again, subtly flippingeveryone off for the hell of it.
