I was thinking all sorts of things when I accidentally heard Carmy was leaving befkre I even got to that point in the show, but I really loved the finale. Especially with it starting with Sydney and Carmy yelling their hearts out to each other and then when its Carmy and Richie's turn, Richie doesn't let her leave. Which is amazing as hard as it is cause then she's there! For all of it! To hear them air out all the drama that she was just saying she and the rest of the staff had to suffer under while running the restaraunt. She gets to hear how Carmy has actually been feeling and airs out her own deep thoughts. She gets to witness the reconciliation between Carmy and Richie. Hearts finally bared to all of them in the back of the restaraunt that's painful but answering what was breaking them all for ages. All three of them sharing a cigarette, on the verge of tears. Also fucking glad Claire didn't witness this I was going to riot if she suddenly popped up. Carmy didn't even bring it up to Sydney when he heard about her leaving, mostly cause her dad just had a heart attack, but the way he was trying to just understand her leaving even though he was saying that he 'smokes Adam' with pure gloat but ends his statement with saying she does too. And to end it all with Nat just hugging Carmy, cause she could already see he fell out of love with it and him coming to terms with it finally, man.
