(my oc) zillow and dax love to people watch during dax’s lunch break, there’s two specific people in particular….
@thunyielding / 𝒄𝒍𝒐𝒔𝒆𝒅 𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒆𝒓. the king's private apartments, following the events of the ‘play in the park.’
The blaze of the hearth licked at his cold flesh, each misshapen amber freckle bestrewn across his skin set aflame, a grand and tarnished gold. The familiar, pungent aroma of smoldering wood flared within his nostrils as a knock pounded on the oak doors leading into the King’s private apartments. He lifted his head, still sopping with rainwater, and debated feigning sleep. Few would dare to request an audience with His Majesty in his sanctuary – restricted, as it were, from the rest of the court – and Wills would hazard a guess that his mother had long concluded her feverish prayers and gone to bed. That left cousin Rochford, or his sister. Without observing usual ceremony, the King barks a flippant command to enter, and in a flash, a whirl of red-gold hair and shimmering brocade cascades into his room. Her long Tudor nose and striking black eyes, unmistakably the hallmark of royal blood. Elizabeth.
‘No.’ Wills’ lips mould into a thin, disapproving hyphen. He makes to stand, snuffing out one of the candles flickering by his bed. The pad of his thumb dances against the hot rim of the sconce, burning ever-so-slightly through a callous. ‘It’s been a long night. Whatever you need – a greater dower, or more ladies to attend upon you – it can wait until the morrow.’ He cocks his head in his sister’s direction, a smirk toying on the edges of his lips as his chest heaved with anticipation. ‘Unless you’ve come to offer me some observation from the night?’
“it’s not my job to worry about him, it’s my job to take orders from him,” said over his glass of sparkling water, something he’s never really understood. there’s no need for bubbles but, if it made people feel fancier then what harm did it do? he pushes around what’s left of his meal, “but...i do consider the general a friend. and all of this...preparation has been getting to him. at least tell me he’s been sleeping?” 🍀 @swanstheory
lol that person replied and then blocked you and then complained about you on their account
The person from the poll??? I didn't really need to know but thank you.
This is a v gossipy ask about Sherry so Idk if allowed. But I have always wondered if his family doesn’t get along with Sultana Siddiqui’s side of the family. Is there any tea there? Also what do you think of him as a director? I actually like his works. He sometimes overindulges on the ~artsiness for the sake of it but there is a lot of promise there.
lol nothing out of the ordinary..just rich people choosing money over their own relationships. Sherry's father, uncle, phupho all got into a power struggle over who gets to have more control over certain properties. Sherry's father chose his brother over his sister so that soured relationships between the siblings. plus, Sherry has gone on record to say that his experience working at Hum TV was not the greatest and that he was either misguided or not mentored well. which, yeah..fair enough. he didn't do any memorable work at Hum so the bitterness is valid. baqi I have not seen any of Sherry's directorial work except his TVCs. i admire that he takes the behind-the-camera craft seriously and has used his connections and privileges to proper teach himself the ropes of being behind the camera for some years when he was away from the screen. can't see him ever making a mainstream drama as a director but he could very well go on and make a movie some years down the line. he evidently takes the craft seriously.
