Just friends [Jaebum x Reader]

Note: Before you start reading. This is my first time writing a fanfic. My mother language is not English, so maybe there are a lot of mistakes. I tried my best and it was so much fun, so maybe I'll continue this story.

So, basically you and the guys have been friends for a while now. You met them a while ago and you became friends easily.

You were at this rameon place you love, eating by yourself and a group of loud guys came and sit in the table right next to you. You tried not to hear their conversation but they were really loud. So when Jackson made a joke you laught too.

They were having fun so you thought they wouldn't realize, but Mark looked at you frowning his brows. In that moment, Bambam realize you were there. He stood up and came in your direction.

You tried to look innocent and start eating faster only looking at your plate. He sat next to you, and you start getting ready for a nagging session but instead he said:

- Hi! I'm Bambam. Were you laughing at my friend's joke?

You didn't know what to do, you obviously got caught, so it was ridiculous trying to deny it, so you answer with a little nod.

- You should be the only one who find him funny

- Oh, come on! You heard Jackson saying

You giggled a little and looked at Bambam's face for the first time since he sat next to you and then you looked at the boy's table, they all were looking at you. You felt shy.

Then Jackson said: If you want to hear more jokes you should seat whit us.

Yugyeom and Youngjae said: Yeah! agreeing with Jackson's idea but at the same time they were all looking at JB's reaction. All trying to know if they get his approvement.

JB looked at you a little bit cautious but he nodded and said: Yes! Come sit with us.

This was the start of your friendship, that night Bambam asked for your number and when you got home you already had a new groupchat with all the guys.

When you met them you had been in Korea for 2 months, you were there for working and you were still trying to adapt to your place and your new job.

You always had the dream of coming to Korea and it finally became true. You never thought you'll met the group you used to fangirl with your bestie when you were in your country.

You never told them you were a fan in a first place, because maybe they will get the wrong idea. Maybe they'll thought you want to be near them to know private things about them and then tell everyone on SNS.

But one day they found out you have been a fan since almost the beginnig and all of them, maybe specially Jackson and Bambam, started asking you questions like: Who is your bias? What is your favourite song? Did you prefer 1:31 am, Higher or WOLO? ...

Their job always had them busy but when they had a day or an afternoon off, they'll try to spend some time with you. Like going to have dinner, go bowling, have a karaoke night or just staying in and watching Netflix.

You don't know too many people in Korea so having them in your life, even when they are busy or abroad most of the time, was a bit of a relief.

You have had feelings for JB for a while. But you don't want to ruin the friendship. You don't want to make things awkarwd so you try to hide your feelings to everyone.

Sometimes Bambam talks about a guy he could set you a date with, but you avoid the topic asking him where did he get his jewellery/jacket or whatever.

But one day, you are all at your apartment. You are in the living room, sitting on the sofa and the floor. They are talking about how difficult is for artists to have a good relationship that last more than 2 months. You are basically listening to what they have to said, because: 1. You are not famous and 2. You don't have that much experience with love, relationships and all of that.

But Jinyoung wants to know your opinion and you start to panick.

"I don't know. Maybe it's because they don't really love each other, and that's why they end up breaking up"

- So are you saying that when you are in love you can be apart of him for months, see him kiss another girls because of his work... and you still be there? Jinyoung asks

- Yes, maybe I'm being naive... But, I'm not saying it's be easy but if you love someone you stay with him even if it hurts a little bit.

- You are just being a hopeless romantic! Jinyoung said

- Maybe... You said looking around because you feel like you talked too much

- But, did you said this because you are in love? Bambam asks as a joke, but instead of laughing like everyone does you start to say "No, no, I literally have no boy friends apart of you, so how could I be in love?"

You talked without thinking and made another mistake

- Soooo, is one of us? Jackson asks with a big ass smile on his face

- Shut up, you are my friends!

- OMG, you are blushing! Yugyeom starts to point at your pink checks and laughs

- You look at all of them without being able to reply and then:

- Come on, guys, be a little more mature! Mark says at the time he stands up and makes his way to the kitchen, finishing the conversation.

They stay silent for a moment but start to talk again about this videogame they all play or watch gameplays.

So you go to your kitchen and find Mark taking a glass of water. You approach him and whisper a little "Thank you"

"You looked a little bit uncomfortable and I know that we got the jokes to far sometimes"

It's Friday and you are home after a hard day at work. You hear your phone buzz and when you see it's JB who is messaging you, you can't help but smile.

After all the stress at work lately, your skin is a mess so you start getting ready by putting a sheet mask on. Then you get a pair of jeans and a white shirt that you love. You get your make up done and you are ready to go!

You got to the place early and because it's raining you get in, instead of waiting for them outside. When you get in there you smile because you can see the table they used the day you met free, and you decided to seat there and wait while going through your Instagram.

After a few minutes you hear a noise and when you look up you see JB sitting in front of you. He is smiling at you: How you' ve been? He starts the conversation and when you realize 2 hours have gone, you have emptied your plates and it's time to go home. You had a lot of fun, you don't wanna go but he got you in a taxi and you say goodbye.

When you get home, you send him a message because even when you are really happy with you going out alone with him, something doesn't make sense for you.

OMG. This isn't what you were thinking when you asked him in first place. You try to sleep but you end up readying the same conversation again and again.

HE WANNA GO ON DATES WITH YOU!!!!
