Yet another episode of well, Sansa was right

FIRE & BLOOD
Episode 5 of Season 8 in Game of Thrones is entertaining not going to lie but when you really think about it...it’s a hollow episode. It’s a great-looking, amazingly acted episode and have some great moments (Cersei crying like a coward) but a lot of it felt unearned, rushed, and flat out doesn't make sense. (Arya should have died multiple times in this episode and the Daenerys’ character in the majority of the season is a flat out lie)
It’s obvious D&D are better adapters than actual writers. They seem to go with what seems cool and asserting their own agenda than creating something profound and well-written.
That being said. I still stand with Daenerys Targaryen. Her burning down King’s Landing with ferocity is my aesthetic. Even though the episode is not the best at all, I see it as a metaphor for how women are 1000% done. I’m done. My mom is done. My female ancestors are done. My neighbor and her baby are done. That old lady down the street is done. My 3rd-grade teacher is done. We’re all done.
We’re holding our head high, we’re burning shit to the ground then creating new life. Deal with it.
Thank you Daenerys Targaryen for being a bad-ass with a good heart, a visionary, complex warrior-Queen when the media was lacking female characters like you. It’s a shame D&D couldn’t handle you.
FIRE & BLOOD
They’re going to kill her off on the last episode by Jon/Arya to make Jon king even though he doesn’t want it and he is NOT the absolute best person to lead The Seven Kingdoms. To be completely and utterly honest the character who always was the absolute best person for the throne was...
Tyrion Lannister was always the best for the throne. He cares for the outcasts and innocents, ruthless when needed, loyal, the smartest person in the room, and overall awesome.
But they're going to snub him for Jon. Don’t get me wrong Jon is a good candidate but let’s be honest he would be absolutely miserable on the throne with a den full of schemers and opportunists smarter than him. All the while away from home and his friends and family.
Tyrion lives for schemes and outwitting others. He has the drive and the knowledge to actually break the wheel. He would be the ultimate King of the Seven Kingdoms and the only one I accept as valid.
