Icarus isn’t technically supernatural in the way of a lot of people, but he’s been around long enough, and is not quite human enough to know about most of the various things that go bump in the night, or in the case of a few different factions, to know about the groups that try and stop the the things that go bump in the night.

He’s made a lot of friends in various places over the years.

1. Ilya gets motion sick when it comes to Muggle transportation. It’s why if he travels it tends to be by floo or another magical method.

2. He still has a Slavic accent, but it’s not anywhere near as strong as his father or his grandfathers. The handful of years in Britain was a large part of that.

3. Ilya didn’t marry for live, but that doesn’t mean that he doesn’t absolutely adore his son. He doesn’t get back home nearly as often as he’d like, but he does floo home as frequently as he can.

1. There’s a decent number of recipes that h can cook that no one else has been able to in centuries. Another large collection of them are slightly changed from the original because he can’t get access to the ingredients anymore.

2. In more modern lifetimes, he knows how to skateboard.

3. He spent time as an actor in Shakespeare’s company. One of the secrets he’ll never tell anyone is that he knows who the sonnets were written to.
