Lava lips attempt, part two. Much better results, very happy with the look. I decided to goth it up s bit today on as whim for a variety of reasons stemming from I can always stand to add a little goth to my life to having goals of being the world’s cutest wife who makes her wife giggle helplessly all the time. Look, my motivations are complex and pure of heart.

It’s very important everyone knows how pretty my gray hairs are also, so I took a picture of them just for you.

I keep having these long, rambling and aimless discussions about being femme with my wife. It goes back and forth between how I describe myself as being just a normal femme, or if it’s better to call it queer femme, or if I can call it something else like femmeweird, I’ve so far figured out that exactly what constitutes “doing femme” varies by gender identity and sexuality, but I have more research cut out for myself.

We had a conversation about being unintentionally brave (my words). Just looking like we do, living our lives like we do, without apology. We are what we are for the whole world. Anyway, I should be more eloquent because if I’m going to be this visible the rest of my life I should also be crafting better insights into what it all means.

I make a terrible role model. All I want is more lipstick.
