Something I've never understood as a goth
I am quite visibly a goth, or at least alternative. I'm pale with black hair, 14 facial piercings, I enjoy heavy makeup and I wear all black all year round. Now that you have an image to work with, allow me to continue.
For some reason in any debate online I always end up getting compared to a dark haired person when someone is trying to insult me. I've been called Morticia, Wednesday, Snape, Bellatrix, Edward Scissorhands, Marilyn Manson, and now Jessica Jones.
How is anyone not aware that the above is an enormous compliment? (Maybe some of you will question Snape and Manson, but they're two awesome people to me) Can someone explain to me how I'm supposed to take that negatively? It's like calling an apple, well, an apple.
