How do you feel that the game finally confirmed that sol bad guy is the biological father of dizzy, the biological grandfather of Sin and father in law of Ky
The story "says" they are family, but tends to step OVER the fact that none of this has EVER been explained in the story (not even a little bit).
I discussed this at length when discussing Ky's situation a while ago.
First of all, let's remember that Aria never had intimate relations (enough to get pregnant) with Frederick prior to being frozen in cryostasis in 2016. She never even says anything (nor does Jack-O') about having children.
Frederick had only just barely had time to "pop the question" of Marriage to her (through a cryptic computer coding prank no less), never mind the idea that Aria was used as the "Template" not just for Justice, but for future Command Type Gears and Valentines who aren't Dizzy (much less any other Command Type Gear, Solaria, I'm looking at YOU, Gig, I'm also looking AT YOU.)
Secondly, Sol (obviously) fought Justice TWICE during the Crusades after the year 2172. A grand total of two times, and the THIRD time Sol fought her was in 2180, which resulted in her death.
If Justice WAS pregnant sometime prior to being unsealed in 2180, there's absolutely no strong record of it, short of anything GG2 Overture has suggested as a possibility. And it most certainly was NOT from Sol's hands, since he's the one who KILLED her.
Sol himself is somewhat rattled whenever Dizzy mentioned the idea of being her biological father, since not only does that connect him to Ky and Sin (which he previously had zero knowledge of), but also the very idea that he had intimate relations with his FORMER mortal enemy: a Gear.
Sol was a Gear, make no mistake, but he swore he would kill and dismantle ALL Gears (not long after being betrayed by Asuka a while ago). Bedman even cracks jokes about this paradox in Xrd Sign.
Sol's excuse for sparing Dizzy from her fate of "Death as a Gear" was because he "made a mistake, not all Gears want to fight and/or die" (to paraphrase what he says in Guilty Gear X upon his first encounter with Dizzy).
It's because Dizzy didn't want to fight that Sol spared her, that's the initial reason... there wasn't anything MORE to that (and Sol doesn't even mention the idea that Dizzy even remotely reminded him of Aria... in fact the similarity was much closer with the first Valentine than with Dizzy herself).
He doesn't even make much comparison to Justice, other than the Michael Sword, Imperial Ray, and Gamma Ray (and let's not talk about Necro Install, shall we?)
It's worth noting that when Dizzy encounters Kliff Undersn (in a possible what-if scenario) she says he reminds her of her "Father", but is nonspecific as to whether she means her biological father or her adopted parents (whom raised her and also took in Testament some time later).
Speaking of Kliff, there's also a point when Crow Kuruwaba (of the former Postwar Administration Bureau) has Dizzy face a "simulated Battle" of both Kliff's and Sol's "Crusades Era Combat Data", and Dizzy claims the experience is "Nostalgic".
How can someone who is NOT accustomed to fighting claim that a battle record of two fighters that occurred several years before she was even BORN claim something is "nostalgic"?
Oh but there's more... see, Dizzy "remembers" the Forbidden Beasts (Kinjuu) like Eddie (Zato's Life-Stealing Shadow Organism), and remembers their purpose as naturally-programmed "enemies" of the Gears.
Exactly HOW does someone who was raised in a CAVE for much of her childhood know these things???
Unless she herself somehow "tumbled out of a hidden Gear-Plant Research Facility" and winded up in a civilian village as a kid?
As a child, Dizzy didn't even HAVE Wings OR a Tail, she was just a normal kid at first... and nobody in the village knew where she'd even COME from.
And let's not forget Crow Kuruwaba's "obsession" with trying to clone Dizzy in to an Army of Mass Production Angelic Command Type Gears... and this was LONG BEFORE Valentines were created by the Universal Will (Merciless Apocalypse's Children).
Dr. Paradigm was also somewhat cryptic when he said Dizzy was a "Reproduction of Justice"... so what DOES reproduction even MEAN in this Context, Dr. P? Biological Reproduction? Cloning? Artificial Insemination?
And let's not forget about the CUBE that Asuka R. Kreutz was working on in GG2 Overture... just what WAS that thing, Asuka???
Supposedly it had Sol's Genetic Gear Template Data embedded in it as a "genetic key" (Prime Field) that Valentine later stole from Sin Kiske.
But what was Sin doing with the Prime Field? How did HE get something that Asuka was trying to lock up and seal away?
Asuka didn't even KNOW that Dizzy was connected with Justice genetically in any way, shape, OR form... if he KNEW that Dizzy was connected with Justice, he probably would have created more countermeasures, not just for Dizzy, but for Sol as well!
But the cat's out of the bag: Sin has the Prime Field Gear Genes, the so-called "Blood of Juno" (suggesting the Scales of Juno was embedded in Dizzy's Gene Pool, despite the fact the Scales were NOT installed in Justice initially and only LATER ON installed in Jack-O'!!!).
So what does the Prime Field Gear Genes, the Scales of Juno... and so on and so forth, have anything to DO with Dizzy? Especially when Asuka R. Kreutz had NO AWARENESS OF HER EXISTENCE????
The only POSSIBLE person who could have orchestrated this (Crow Kuruwaba?) hasn't been seen in years, and if they are around, they're probably connected SOMEHOW with Happy Chaos.
And knowing "Chaos" he probably is the ONE who inadvertently created Dizzy just by being in the wrong place at the right time during the Crusades. (To say nothing of how many other things he did posing as "That Man" in place of Asuka.)
Okay... let's brush aside the idea that Dizzy has "artificial memory implants", let's also brush aside the idea that Dizzy's "Blue hair" looks absolutely nothing like Sol's or Justice' hair.... let's brush aside the whole "Blood of Juno" thing for a moment...
Even if Dizzy was "artificially created", as Eddie once stated "Weapons don't form families, they form arsenals"... that's what Dizzy's original PURPOSE was: a Biological Weapon.
It's a harsh truth... but since when does a Biological Weapon have a Heart? Have Dreams? Have HOPE for the Future?
Well, Dizzy had all those and more.
No matter what Dizzy's original "purpose" was, she defied it and insisted on becoming a "human being" (even if by the smallest definition of one).
If "becoming human" means "Loving other people" or "Having a family", it's not a bad idea... certainly beats marching in an army for hundreds of years only to get scrapped by humans (or fellow Gears) who would casually scorn your existence.
Of course, that PURPOSE is still deeply tied to Dizzy's existence, much like the Flame of Corruption is also just as tied to Sol's history.
Will that change anything? Will her position have more meaning to it for humanity now that she has chosen to become a Queen?
Well, according to Vialattea's Property Values, numbers don't lie, apparently. She must be doing SOMETHING right.
As for being Sol's daughter... well, even if the truth is obscured in darkness for thousands of years only to get dredged up by some info-broker like Bedman or something... I'm sure Dizzy already accepted her OWN truth about Sol in her heart (regardless of what the actual truth may be).
As for how Sol feels... it's probably a nice change of pace from living alone for hundreds of years: having a family, that is.
Even if Adopted, even if Symbolic, family is still family.
Weapons may form Arsenals, but those people with Hearts in them can share those hearts with those they love. Even if those Hearts are "a little rusty".
(P.S. Edit: AND DON'T GET ME STARTED on Dizzy's "Mysterious Connection" with Sol's OutRage...)
