Strongest negative personality trait: Unforgiving. Demetria is a Sverker and by nature she is unforgiving. That doesn’t mean she is ruthless and brutal, it just means that if someone crosses her or betrays her she has no reason to show mercy. It is not a gray area. 

Sense of humor: In the right setting, Demi can be smiley and silly but because of their family she has chosen to surpress that and only let a select few see it.

Name: Kursat Erdogan

Age: 35

Gender: Male

Description:  6′4, very muscular build. Most likely in one of these outfits. On the right is more for important events and the left is for more casual outings, the white outfit for travel. Although it is custom for men to cover their hair, as a rebel, Kursat does not. He lived in the ottoman empire his entire life, but still feels a disconnect from the culture. His hair might be haphazardly covered in a scarf, other than that, out. If his hair is pulled back, he is up to something or prepared for a big fight.  

Weapons, if needed: Kursat always has 2 big swords with him for protection of himself and his nobleman. He conceals two knives that were passed down from his grandfather that he shows no one. He does not know what land they were made, which sparked his curiosity in his lineage. 

Personality: Kursat is very skeptical of people, he does not trust people and always felt a disconnect in his life from others. He is very greedy and corrupt and will do many things for the right price. He saw his father struggle when he was young and refused to be that way. He always thought of his father as a sellout and even though he is a soilder, he still does what he can to have his own rules. Kursat can be very playful and not take others seriously. Although he acts dumb in the presence of his nobleman, he is very smart and uses it to his advantage with others. 

Bio

The Erdogan family is a torn one. As a young child Kursat’s father was kidnapped as casualty of war and grew up as a farmer and poor. He gave up everything he knew about his old life and assimilated into the ottoman empire. After Kursat was born, his father tried to pledge his loyalty to the empire and train to become a solider.  It was a rocky start and something Kursat hated to see his father go through. Through humiliation and horrible deeds, he was finally sworn in and Kursat finally lived a decent life. Growing up Kursat would find little trinkets of his father’s old life, but his father would never tell him anything. Leaving that piece of him behind him when he was in captivity. Although what his father did was to survive, Kursat found it to be selling out and weak. He could never fully feel home within the empire, torn at the idea that where he lived was in the presence of his captors. He tried whatever he could to learn about his past and was only found with yelling and dead ends.  With no other choice, Kursat joined the force like his father, but vowed he would still have his freedom, unlike his father. Kursat soon became known as one of the best warriors in the empire and was chose to protect a nobleman of the court while on travels. Obsessed with his freedom and greed, Kursat takes jobs on the side for the right price. He isn’t too fond of his nobleman, but enjoys his notoriety and being able to travel

Bashimur grew up in a big family of 8. While his father worked and he was too young to do so himself, he helped his mother raise his brothers and sisters. Being the oldest of  8 was a daunting task, but Bashimur always took it in pride, always looking for ways to help his family. Cooking with his mother lead to his passion for cooking, growing up , his father always underminded  him for it, but he would not let it go. After the death of his mother at age 13, it was mostly up to Bashimur to cook for the family. Always seen at markets, Bashimur became companions to many people of the court, soon giving tips and tricks to the cooks before him. When he was 17, he was asked to join the royal family’s line of cooks, valued for his skills. He has been with the royal family for over 10 years now and it has given him the opportunity to help aid in taking care of his family, now that his father has passed also. Bashimur continues to watch over his younger siblings, but was sent on a mission by the royal family to explore more recipes and dishes.
