“Sometimes, violence is necessary. Violence changes things.”
Four feet of genuine frustration stood before the girl. Black stands disheveled into a mess, bags puffy and dark circles all about.-- She needed rest. Not negotiations and conversation. However, despite the exhaustion tugging at her limbs, she’s still respectful, voice light and tone humble as she listens to the other’s answer. It’s-- not what she wanted to her, but she was more than ready with a response by the time the other is done speaking, already knowing where it was going by the second word. “Yeah, it does Maeying. But words change things too and if we’re ever going to figure out who the hell set that stupid fire, then we all have to band together. Fighting one another isn’t going to change things.” In all honesty, she wanted to go home. She wanted to sleep, but this, of course, was more important than sleep.
“You didn’t expect this, did you? Have you made a mistake?”
a short snicker fell from his lips---it’s place gradually taken by a lopsided grin as he looked down at the cards. at his losing hand in particular. “i don’t make mistakes, mae. you know me better than that.” his smugness held strong, though honestly, he didn’t know how she could have won. he was certain of his victory three turns before her hand was played. “no big deal,” he shrugged, playing it off like he wasn’t tracing back each turn of the game in his mind trying to figure out where he went wrong. “i’m sure you cheated. so, what? does this mean i’m paying for drinks until i win next week?”
Maeying: Someone will die.
Kanghyuk: Of fun!
Maeying: And of murder.
❛ Go suck an egg! ❜
Hansol raises his eyebrows, small smirk on his face as the insult is thrown at him, “Mae, I wouldn’t quite say that.” The smug look on his face is obvious enough to make eve the most collected person lose it and he wonders why she hasn’t slapped him yet, “I’m pretty sure you were willing to suck something else not to long ago...”
❛ Understand the palm of my hand, bitch! ❜
Jihoon supposed she had a reason to be mad. After all, from what he observed, Maeying had been rather close with Jin. However, after a while, he had explained his reasoning with the other leaders, and at least tried to form some type of alliance with each.-- But it was clear that that wasn’t the case. As soon as her hand raises, he wraps his hand around her wrists, an angry smile on his lips as he speaks through gritted teeth, “Can we be fucking civil or are you going to keep acting like a 12 year old?”
❛ The FUCK are you trying to do? ❜
❛ The FUCK are you trying to do? ❜ “Well…” He broke eye contact with her, swallowing subconsciously. He didn’t actually want to say it, but he felt as though there was no other choice. It was plain as day what he was doing. “I’m trying to keep you safe, Maeying.”
