While this isn’t a Post It, a selected number of artists were asked to create a 10”x10” inch piece of art that will be included in the #PostItShow18 curated by @mark _todd and Eric Nakamura opening at @giantrobot @giantrobotstore this Saturday, December 3, 2022. I based all my work for this show on folklore. Not a surprise. So why a dancer? Folklore and the act of dancing are both an expression of preservation. Ote’a, a dance form with Tahiti origins, exists as a way of retelling stories from Polynesian ancestors. A form of expression that is now globally practiced.
