Ire my glorious QUEEENNN + some design headcanons! (Grace Roblox)

Yeah so guess mossypawsss favorite Grace character. Man I wonder who it could be! I say. After spending like 8 straight hours on this in like one sitting!

Also! Here are some small headcanons I have about Ire under the cut:

For me, I’ve always imagined Ire to be pretty little compared to a lot of the other sins, as in she’s small and inconspicuous. This is just a way to look less threatening, though; Ire’s entire goal in life is to coax the player into wrathful or hateful actions, by appearing less threatening, she can lure them into it easier than if she would appear as a violent or threatening monster… you’re much more likely to trust a lamb than a wolf, right?

I try to represent Ire in a similar manner to those stories of girls who frame people and use the fact that they look small and harmless as leverage to convict someone of something awful. I feel like ire does that in a similar sense to the sinner, and by looking small and meek uses that as a way to get them angry over something… “what do you MEAN this person could hurt someone so innocent looking?!”

Ire goes hand and hand with both Sorrow and Rue, which is where the reds and the whites on her design come from. With Sorrow, when you’re sad or upset, you’re more likely to get angry and spiteful. With Rue, how couldn’t you get angry at someone who hurt you so much?

The chains on Ire are shared with Rue, she’s quite literally chained down by her own hatred and wrath, like how Rue is chained down by their desperation for forgiveness.

Ire wings are also just decoys, they’re soft and act as a way to make her look more harmless. She can’t fly, they’re too tiny for that, and the chains holding her down prevent her from doing so anyways.
