One month. One. More. Month. And then I will have officially finished my first two degrees. Ohemgee. But before then I have to: - build at least 1.5 more airplanes - finish the marketing video for our plane - compete in an aircraft design competition - educate middle schoolers on aircraft seating - do a final project in CATIA - finish my final paper for Aero Lab - take my Aero Lab final - and find a place to live this summer I’m not convinced four weeks is enough.

I finally got some of my grad photos from December. When I saw this one, my eyes went straight to my legs. I’m very self conscious about my legs. I hate the shape they are in. I always wear pants, and this was my first time wearing a dress since high school. I’m wearing nude tights, so they look kinda wonky. 

What I should focus on is that beautiful smile I have. This is the face of a woman who just survived 20 years in school, and is ready to use her talents to create beautiful art and film. This is the face of a woman who weighs 320 pounds, and is also a fabulous dancer. This is the face of a woman who’s been trying to lose weight since middle school, and is determined to become a fitter healthier version of herself. 

So as I sit here, feeling down about myself and my life, I need to remind myself of all of the amazing things I’ve accomplished, and that I have so much more potential within me.

DMD EXPERIENCE REVIEW

-maganda naman yung makeup -mabigat ang kamay though as in! as if nakikiskis face ko maygawd -if may mga hypoallergenic keme kayo na need na makeup pwede naman siguro kayo provide foundation that you want -I saw that the makeup artist used maybeline but she has only 4 shades. That depends anyway to whoever makeup artist will be assigned to you. -bring false eyelashes if you have one so that you could save 100 pesos. -if gusto niyo sa toga and filipiniana niyo straight tas ipakulot naman sa fashion pwede -you can borrow clothes for your fashion shoot as well as shoes, accessories and other props -If you are already fully paid you could get a CD with all of your raw photos right away. - There’s a free group shot if want niyo basta you either get package 3 or 4 - nakakapressure si siszxst pag pipili ka na picture. She was like "sure ka na ba diyan? Wala ng baguhan yan. Dat sigurado ka na" -take your time sa pag awra awra sa fashion it’s okay if you want to stand, sit o what in your shots.You could borrow chairs orr tables if you want to. But you couldn’t have any costume change effect. -you could also take pictures sa ring light sa baba it is adjustable if you want a warm or cool color of light.
