Well, I am officially a grad student. We shall see how this endeavor goes. I’ve never been great at school, and I have to keep a 3.0 GPA.

Where the first semester is all

Sitting in lab and I'm really nervous...I'm developing a blot and I really really hope it works. I just had a few unproductive weeks and I really need this.

But I'm really nervous because I think I mixed up my mutant and wt cell lines at some point...and I'm really worried. I hope I didn't, but I dunno. I have a terrible feeling and I don't like it.

So, I'm pretty sure I scored that job interview by listing "the ability to keep it together in high pressure situations" as a skill. To prove that I stand by my assessment of myself, here I am at 1am, surfing tumblr, when my assignment which is due in literally 12 hours time is maybe only 2/3 finished and I am definitely going to go to sleep instead of finishing it right now.

have to write a panel paper for conference in a couple weeks.

have to teach my first class Wednesday

have to perform at winter storytelling on Thursday

Should be a good week but damn I'm already exhausted just thinking about it.
