A Formalist Approach to Pablo Nerruda's poem "Don't go far off"
This poem expresses a sorrowful meaning which people who has complicated relationships to a loved one can relate to, but still gives off a beautiful message to their love ones. Readers can infer that the speaker's word was spoken in desperation and loneliness, he does not want that person leave him not even for a day, an hour or for second, he doesn't want to be left out and he will wait, because the moment his love one leaves, he would still be asking "will you come back?", It is truly hard for a loved one to leave the emptiness for a day can even feel like forever.
