જ⁀➴ I'm graduating college in a week! I will brag for a second because I'm genuinely so proud of how far I've come as a student and individual. I started university very insecure with no discernable path in life. I am ending it with an honors degree, dean's list all four years, and acceptance into Columbia Journalism School for their book publishing program. I did this while being a student journalist and a band member. I'm genuinely so excited, and to celebrate, I wanted to do a little event for you guys!!

🎉graduation letter event🎉

hey! lot’s of people (including myself!) are missing graduation events this month due to the COVID-19 outbreak and I wanted to do a special event for graduates or anyone else missing a special event (just specify in your request).

Basically, you’ll be requesting quick “Happy Graduation” notes from a character of your choice. Just send a fandom from my list, character, and specify if you’re a college/high school graduate or it’s some other event, as well as any other details (post-grad plans, etc.).

Congrats to the class of 2020! This may not be the graduation we expected, but for like so many of our favorite characters, the world came knocking and now we just have to rise to the occasion. We’ll be okay. I promise.

This event will be open from 5/16 to 6/10, to hopefully encompass the entire graduation season!

I am in the same shoes, I am graduating college this year, I was studying safety and defense politics, and it is not the graduation I imagined! Hey,

I’m not usually one for writing letters, but I wanted to send something along to celebrate your graduation. I know this isn’t what you imagined your college graduation to look like, or even feel like, but I hope you can make the best of it and celebrate in your own way. Hell, let off some steam, you’ve been in school forever (but not too much steam, we’re still doing this whole social distance thing and I got the luck of getting quarantined with my siblings... so.... be responsible, you know? Don’t do anything I would do. But still. Have fun.) Just because you’re not able to enjoy your graduation the way you expected doesn’t make it any less of an accomplishment. If anything, being part of the class of 2020 carries a little more weight, and you’ll be back to celebrate with all of us before you know it.

I remember when you told me about what you were planning to study, and even though I still can’t wrap my head around stuff like safety and defense politics, I know it’s more important than ever. We’ve all taken a hit right now, and if the only thing you can really do when that happens is get back up. As many times as you need to. Don’t tell Fives I said this (or maybe do... he’ll take it personally), but you’re smarter than any of us and capable of so much more than you think.

Best of luck, and we’ll have you around the house as soon as this is all over for a real party. It’ll be a blast.
