thing that breaks my heart everytime is thinking about G'raha's story from his own perspective - like going from the end of the Crystal Tower arc, where the WoL promises to wake him up when the world is better, directly to waking up in the 8th Calamity timeline to find that the world has gone to hell. And in the meantime that adventurer he admired went on to become a legendary hero and then to die tragically in a chemical attack and now their memory is the only thing holding this dying world together. Just imagine the sheer whiplash from hope to grief.

Looking at it like that, it's no wonder he can be a little intense and wierd about the WoL sometimes.
