Garakka’ahrr, better known as “Grakk”, was a Wookiee Treetalker apprentice born in the Kyyhrro’rrkho village on the planet Kashyyyk. As young cubs, Grakk and his little brother, Jowarra, were both chosen to apprentice under the wise Elder Nagurra, an old Wookiee Treetalker who had spent many years serving the people of his village and would later on become the boys’ teacher, passing down his knowledge and wisdom of Wookiee Shamanism and the Force onto them, so that they may one day take his place together when they come of age.

To many Wookiees, the opportunity to become a Treetalker was upheld as a great honor worth taking seriously. Grakk… wasn’t one of those Wookiees. Despite being chosen for such an honored position within his clan, Grakk, more often than not, preferred to “do his own thing”, which mainly included; goofing off during lessons, cracking terrible jokes, challenging fellow Wookiees to wrestle with him and “borrowing” the Elders Mylaya to have joyrides with his brother, leading him to be described as; “Totally the coolest guy ever!” and “The bravest wookiee on Kashyyyk!”. At least, according to Jowarra. Some would say different, but, Grakk tended to focus more on the positives.

“Hey, Grakk!!” Jowarra announced suddenly, stopping mid-climb to look down at his older brother, the larger wookiee still further below him on their climb up the wroshyr tree, “Last one to the top’s a rotten shi-shok fruit!!”

“Wha-?! Hey wait, since when’d this become a race??” Grakk called back through a laugh.

“Since right now! So you better start moving if you still wanna win, bantha-breath!” Jowarra chuckled playfully as he began moving up again.

“Psh! You’re on!!”

Life Day 2025

Happy Life Day, y’all!!! To celebrate this year I, once again, drew lil Grakk and Jowa! But this time, attending their village’s annual Life Day Lighting Ceremony with their mentor, Elder Nagurra; who seems very pleased that the boys are enjoying themselves and not stirring up any trouble for once! 💙✨
