Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order (2019)
The Force Twins of Owl Squad 🦉
This is a WIP of an OC artwork on quite an old sketch. I worked on it here and there and now it’s almost finished 🤩
A bit clone trooper lore and ARC Trooper Source under the cut...
ARF Trooper Forest 🌲 Making a campfire isn’t necessary, but he is one of the remaining generation 1 clones and has been stationed on Kashyyyk, making campfires since the first day he has fought side aside with the Wookies.
Owl Squad from the 41st Elite Corps often have missions inmidst the ancient woods of Kashyyyk and other wilderness planets. Forest didn’t even ask the first time, when they all were freshly assigned to their first mission together. He got out of his boots and does what he always does. Neither his vode nor his Commander complained, so he silently enjoyed showing his younger vode that it’s the small things in life that count. Especially for clones, as the next day can always be their last day.
ARC Trooper Source ♟️ As Forest’s batch twin he considers himself lucky that they almost never got parted in their together history, despite different specialisations and application fields.
The more time passed, the more signs were, that maybe it wasn't just "luck". As common it is that clones idolize seasoned gen 1 clones, due to the brute realism all of them get taught for reasons, as special the nicknames are, their vode started to call them.
Source "the Sorcerer" – understandable, as doing complex data extraction and hacking looks like sorcery to younger vode. He would have chosen "No Bullshit" for himself though, claiming this with his no-bullshit face and his grumpiest voice, making everyone laugh.
Forest "the Shaman" – mostly because the long haired, silent clone was a natural with the Wookies, their culture and all the nature he kind of walked through like being born for it. But even more as things happen when he's around. Lucky circumstances. At some point it's somehow conspicuous.
As the twins mostly acted together, known to make things happen that not even Jedi can explain, they got the nickname "The Force Twins" ✨
More of them 🦉

The Deserter (Pt.1)
Rey x MascFem!Reader
SYNOPSIS: After running from the First Order, you crash on Ajan Kloss without knowing it was the Resistance base. You spill everything about where you came from to the resident Jedi, Rey without a second thought. There is something about you... and something about her... It is like you two are connected somehow. Even though you two just met, it feels like you two are bound by the souls.
WARNINGS: Suggestive content, muscular reader, canon typical warcrimes, nude bathing, soul bonds (if you squint), teasing, PTSD, near-death situations
A/N: Was this just an excuse to show off my star wars knowledge, and also write lesbian shit for one of my favorite women of the franchise? I can neither confirm nor deny it... And yes, there will be more of this. much more. I like it. you don't have to... plz say you like it (Pt. 2 Here) (Pt. 3 Here)
It was a total string of luck that you found the Resistance base. Escaping the First Order, you fled deep into the Outer Rim territory to hide away like a coward in the face of danger. You spent your entire life running whenever things got tough. You were briefly part of the First Order before you deserted while stationed on Kashyyyk.
The stories the Wookiees told when they believed the stormtroopers weren’t listening. About the Jedi that walked the planet before the First Order. Even before the Republic you were told stories about… They talked of the first Republic; when a Sith lord named Darth Revan walked the surface of the planet and terrorized the galaxy. And then years later, she returned as a new person and saved the galaxy from the very war she started.
Stories of hope echoed across the land, even when your battalion was ordered to try and clear away the wroshyr trees. Unfortunately for the First Order, they underestimated how violent fauna was on the planet. The squad you were apart from was overrun by kinraths, webweavers, and the worst of all, anakkonas. Massive, slithering beasts the size of starships that burrow underground. You watched half of your friends get eaten alive and you fled on a TIE fighter the first chance you got.
The terror was in your bones the entire time, rattling from your ears to your toes with every rotation in space. The fighter wasn’t capable of hyperspace travel, so you had no choice but to hoof it, so to speak, to the Outer Rim.
So, so deep in the dark space that just seeing the planet’s moon was like something from a dream. Maybe you were simply delirious from dehydration, or you were experiencing the lovely condition called “Space Psychosis”. Regardless, stars started to seem like living creatures in your vision as the barely functional fighter entered the moon’s atmosphere with a less than graceful crash among the forest. This jungle was far less dense than Kashyyyk, but no less green than what you were used to.
Tears tracked your face when the fighter slammed against the trunks of the thick foliage, unlatching and pushing open the top hatch of the ship with shaking hands. The armor felt like it was searing your skin as you managed to tumble free from the cockpit and unstrap the plating over your body. But for every layer you removed, you found another strap holding the armor in place and it felt like you were locked in a durasteel room.
A cry escaped your lips as you yanked on the front of your chest plate, fingers scrambling for purchase against the soft outer shell before you decided to say fuck it. You reached into the holster on your calf and unsheathed a dagger, slipping it against the back of your armor plating and slicing.
The blade dug into your skin, but the armor fell hard onto the forest floor, a breath of relief hitting your lungs as you fell to your knees and began to sob.
It was all gone… Everything you knew was gone. But what you knew wasn’t that kriffing great to begin with… Would the First Order chase after you? They would have made their presence known in space, they had so much time to track you down… The fighter!
“They all have trackers… No, no, no, they all have trackers!” You panicked. Your ears started ringing as you climbed back into the ship and started to press away at the console inside. One of the panels popped open and you looked around for the right operating code in case of disaster. Sweat dripped from your brow as you typed in the code and heard the alarms blaring inside of the TIE fighter.
“Initiating self-destruct sequence. T-minus: one minute.”
You scrambled out of the fighter, tripping on the foliage as you ran for cover. It took over thirty seconds to just get out of the cockpit, so you did not make it very far. The explosion shook the ground, hard. Trees trembled, leaves falling down with dirt kicking up every which way. The fire sent out waves of heat so strong that it knocked you off your feet, slamming headfirst against a boulder about ten feet away.
Instantly, you were unconscious, fire burning around you as the grass caught the blaze, licking at your skin and nearly killing you…
Until they found you.
“Well, where did she come from? And how many more are on their way?”
“We would have seen something by now, I think she’s alone.”
“But why is she here? And who the hell is she?”
“How about we wait until she wakes up and then ask her?”
“Yeah, until she tries to kill us…”
The voices sounded more like ghosts than real people. Pain radiated from the back of your skull all the way down your spine, throbbing and pulsing like crackles of lightning. The sun had long gone down, and you noticed that the rest of your armor was gone… Actually, all of your clothes were gone.
A blanket was between you and indecent exposure, only in a chest binding and underwear. Your muscles were covered in bruises from wearing that armor for so long. A bandage soaked in bacta was around your forehead, and while it may have healed you slightly, it didn’t stop the headache.
You slowly sat up and immediately cried out at the agony that raced down your spine.
“Easy! Easy,” You attempted to focus your eyes, feeling them blur with tears before aggressively blinking them away. You expected a lot of things… But you didn’t expect her. “You took one hell of a hit.”
Princess Leia Organa. No, General Organa. She was right in front of you, her hand pressing against your bruised shoulder and holding you down on the cot. You felt tears slide down your face as you looked up at someone you were told was a war criminal. But she had the kindest eyes you had ever seen on another person in your life.
“I… I don’t… Where am I?” You stammered.
“Depends on who you are, and how many more of the First Order is on the way,” Leia said, her tone shifting into something dangerous. “How did you find this place?”
“I wasn’t looking for it I just… Oh my, God, I couldn’t just…” It all came rushing in at once as you bent forward and dry heaved right in front of the general of the Resistance. You felt the cot shift next to you and a hand on your shoulder. “I couldn’t do it, I ran… Fuck, I ran away. T-The First Order, they… my whole squad died. They wanted to burn down the Palsaang shadowlands! Enslave the Wookiees, I couldn’t just—”
“Okay, calm down,” Leia said gently, and it was like her presence alone was enough to bring you peace from the inside out. Your brain started to relax, and you had no idea how she was doing it, but she was bringing your heart rate back to normal. “Are you a deserter?”
You nodded, very weakly. “I’m alone… I ran away from the First Order.”
“You wouldn’t be the first one here to do it,” Leia said, a smile playing on her face as she stood up, leaning against the cane in her grasp. “I’ll send her in now.”
“Who?” You panicked, sitting up a little straighter before the pain came right back and radiated over your entire person. You clenched your teeth, muscles flexing in anguish. Your broad, stocky frame was now riddled with bruises and brand-new wounds that would put your brute-strength body out of commission for days.
“You try anything,” You looked up to see three people standing at the front of the tent, one with a pissed-off expression and holding a blaster. “I’m not stunning you.”
A scoff left your throat, leaning back a little and rubbing your face from your forehead to your mouth. Sweat coated your hand as you looked between the three standing at the exit, glaring at you like they could light you on fire.
The one with the blaster had dark hair, a cold expression, and an itchy trigger finger. Next to him was a black man with a sharp jaw, broad shoulders, and a less than happy look on his face, but far less mad than the other man. And on the far right…
You felt your face burn with embarrassment. Hazel eyes burned into your own, staring not only at you but through you. Dark brown hair held back out of her face, highlighting her bright skin and gentle features, but nonetheless more dangerous than her companions. An off-white tunic complimented her tanned skin. A weapon wrapped around her chest and… a lightsaber on her hip.
“Are you a Jedi?” You questioned before you could even stop yourself.
The man with the blaster didn’t like that. “Hey, we’re the ones asking the questions here! Now where the hell did you come from?”
His voice was angry, and loud. It had your skull pounding. “K-Kashyyyk… I was stationed on Kashyyyk.”
The black man glanced to the other man. “No, you’re lying. The First Order isn’t crazy enough to attack Kashyyyk, the Empire already tried that.”
“The First Order is more damn crazy than you could ever imagine,” You snapped, head tilting up to look at the men with a fire burning behind your eyes. It was like you could still see the trees burning, your squad being ravaged by the kinraths, and mykals. Death was all around you, like a dark cloud that wouldn’t dissipate. “They… they tried to exterminate them.”
“Exterminate who?” The woman finally spoke, her voice sweet as honey. You shivered, biting your lips to try and get your thoughts under control.
“Everything,” You stood up, the blanket falling to the floor. You were about half a foot taller than she was, looking down into her eyes as her own went from your face to the broadness of your shoulders and the muscle of your biceps. “They set fire to the wroshyr trees… tried to destroy the shadowlands, murdered the Palsaang chieftain, they… we enslaved children.”
“Another reason to put a bullet in her skull before the rest of the Order shows up—”
“Wait!” The woman reached out to stop the man, her hand trembling slightly before looking back up at you. She saw how your hands were curled into fists, the way your arms were shaking, and how you struggled to stay upright. Her hand reached out, sliding across your cheek and you inhaled sharply. “Wait…”
“What are you… doing…” It was like your voice was miles away, echoing in the distance as you felt an unfamiliar force drag down the back of your skull, wriggling inside of your brain and chipping away at your already weakened defenses. You had never felt this in your life. What the hell was she doing to you?
The woman didn’t blink as she stared into your eyes, digging through your brain and searching for the thoughts that you attempted to bury in the time of your travel from Kashyyyk to the outer rim. You inhaled hard, remembering how you held the blaster rifle in your hands and watched as your squad executed several wookiees. You didn’t fire a single shot, just standing there and watching, powerless to stop.
You held the flamethrower as the trees caught fire, flames spreading across the shadowlands and smoking out all of the hostile fauna in the area. In the blink of an eye, your squad was attacked by kinraths. Several people you called friends were stabbed to death right in front of you, dragged away by the giant spiders, or worse… swallowed whole by the massive snakes that live underground in the tunnels below the shadowlands.
She saw you flee. She saw you run away. She saw you fire on your commanding officer and steal his fighter to escape… She saw you become a coward.
When she pulled her hand away, you dropped down to your knees in front of her, tears streaming down your face and hitting the floor as you sobbed uncontrollably. “I ran away… I left my friends to die down there… I couldn’t fire a single kriffing round because I was afraid…”
“It’s okay,” She said calmly, reaching out with both hands and placing them on your face. You sobbed, going lax in her hold and allowing the woman to cradle your face like it was made of fragile glass. Your body showed off anything but fragile… And yet here you were, on your knees in front of a Jedi who had just seen the worst of you. “You’re safe now… Just breathe, you’re alright.”
“I know I’m a damn coward,” You blinked aggressively, looking up at the woman and trying not to show how pained you were from the inside. “But I swear on my life… It’s all true. The First Order is down to a ghost crew on Kashyyyk… If you go there, you could save what’s left. Rwookrrorro, Kachirho, even the shadowlands.”
“Someone tell Leia and Chewie,” The woman stated, not pulling her eyes away from yours for even a second. Those hazel irises were nearly glowing, and you just couldn’t look away from her. You were at her mercy, in every way possible. Without a doubt, she could feel your heartbeat picking up under your skin. “Send out a squad to save the Wookiee homeworld.”
“On it,” The man with the blaster finally backed off, tucking the weapon away into his holster and leaving the tent. It was like he couldn’t wait to be out of that space and all you could do was hold onto whatever sanity you had left.
“Hey,” The other man’s voice was closer. You finally looked away from her, staring at his features that seemed to soften with your story. Very carefully, he placed a calloused hand against your back between your shoulder blades. “I know how you feel… Running from the First Order… My number was FN-2187, but I go by Finn now…”
You inhaled sharply, eyes darting all over his features before giving a nervous laugh, tears still streaking your face. “KL-3208-55…”
“I don’t have a number,” The woman said gently, gaining your attention back. You looked up at her as she smiled. “I’m just Rey.”
“Well… it’s the best name I’ve ever heard before.”
The next day that followed wasn’t exactly easy. You were practically an invalid the whole time, sleeping through the night and most of the day until you felt the rays of sun peeking past the tent flap shielding you from the outside world.
Finn had been nice enough to bring you something to wear, given that you were almost the same size as him. The shirt clung to your muscles like a second skin, the pants tight around your hips as you stepped out of the tent and adjusted to the sunlight on your face. Chirping of wildlife could be heard in the distance, but this was far gentler than the fauna on Kashyyyk.
“Look who’s up,” You blinked roughly, looking down to see the angry man with the blaster approaching you. “Good news, your story checked out! A small group of fighters landed on Kashyyyk and Chewie was able to drive the First Order out.”
“Told you,” Was all you said, rubbing at your eyes and attempting to drive the pain away. “They didn’t stand a chance.”
“Uh-huh,” He rubbed at his jaw and let out a little sigh, almost like he wanted to say something but was pained to say it. “Listen… Sorry about all the threats before, I uh… I have bad experiences with stormtroopers.”
“You were protecting everybody,” You shrugged a little. “I wouldn’t trust me either.”
He slowly stepped forward, and you stumbled back at seeing his hand outstretch towards you. Very carefully, you accepted it. “Poe Dameron.”
“Good to finally know your name,” You said a little more sarcastically than you intended, but no less genuine. It was nice for him to not be waving a gun around in your face every time he got close to you. “Not to be too demanding but… I could really, really use a shower? I mean, I know it’s a forest but—”
“Actually, there’s a uhm… A spring on the other side of the ridge over there. Should be empty right now, so go right ahead,” Poe directed you over the hills towards a thicker brush. You gave him a smile before heading in that direction, weaving through all of the ships and equipment to try and get to the place that was just calling your name.
You ignored the way your stomach growled as you climbed over the hill, your hunger at an all time high as you maneuvered through the bushes and dense foliage of… whatever planet you had ended up on.
The atmosphere here was almost gentle. Birds chirped in the distance, the weather was warm and comfortable, and the oxygen wasn’t too thick for discomfort. It was easy to move around, and you felt a sense of freedom that you hadn’t felt in a long time. You weren’t like a stormtrooper that was stolen away as a child, you enlisted willingly.
That was over a decade ago. After your homeworld fell, you were lost like a dog with no owner. The ghosts of your family haunted your past as you signed up for the First Order with an empty heart and numb soul. It wasn’t until you were faced with the atrocities you committed before that you really felt the ache that was behind your ribs, that echoed through your very lifeforce.
You pushed through the brush and stared at the spring that stretched on for almost a mile. A grin broke across your face as you approached the water and carefully placed your hand inside of the water, letting out a soft moan of pleasure. It was warm, not overly hot, but comfortable. Wow, this place seemed amazing…
Very carefully, you stripped off your clothes, pulling the shirt away and folding it up, unlacing your pants and adding it to the pile. It wasn’t until you were standing in front of the water that you were able to see all the bruises that littered your skin, not to mention the massive bruise on your forehead going into your hairline. It definitely looked like you went to war, and you lost miserably.
Your ribs hurt too much for full range of motion and when you went to unbind your chest, you let out a cry of pain, covering your mouth to keep quiet. It was bad enough that you were among the same people you’ve been told are a stain on the galaxy… But you didn’t want to share weakness in front of more people than you already have.
So absorbed in your pain that the sound of rustling made you nearly jump out of your skin. When you looked up, you saw Rey stumbling on her feet with a small bag over her shoulder, staring at you and seeing how her brain almost skipped like a stone across the water.
“S-Sorry, I didn’t think anyone was—” She inhaled, her nostrils flaring a little as she stared at your body. A soft red decorated her face as she admired the muscles of your abdomen before tearing her gaze back up towards your eyes. “I’ll just be—”
“No wait,” You reached out, hissing in pain and nearly collapsing. Rey stopped in her tracks before she set her bag down and slowly approached you. “J-Just hand me a knife or something… Let me cut these off.”
“You’ll cut yourself again if you do that,” Rey stated flatly, slowly approaching you as if you were some wild animal that may attack her. “I can help you with it, if you want?”
You sighed before nodding, allowing the Jedi to close the distance between you two. You faced forward and lifted your arms away from your chest as you felt her extremely callous fingers graze against your side where you tucked the wrapping away to hold it in place. Very carefully, Rey began to unwrap your chest, attempting to look away but feeling herself being drawn into you.
While unwrapping your chest, you felt her scarred knuckles graze the underside of your right breast and you inhaled sharply at the spike of arousal that went down your spine, sitting up a little straighter, and biting your tongue to keep your sounds inside. Rey mistook this as pain and immediately apologized for touching you.
“Sorry, I know you must be in pain…”
You just nodded, looking towards the water until you felt the bindings slide free from your body and fall into a heap of bandages on the floor. You inhaled deeply, feeling like a weight was lifted from your chest as you leaned back and rubbed at your side where the binding was digging into your skin for force knows how long.
There was a silence that passed between you two, and you looked up to see Rey staring at you even more intently than before. It was easy to say that she was just admiring your build, but you knew what she was looking at. You had a hideous scar on your sternum that was covered by the wraps until now. It was in the shape of a jagged X, branching off in every other direction like some kind of parasite under your skin.
You decided to answer before she could ask. “My training gear failed on my third day… my commander thought I was going to die.”
“It looks so painful…” Before you knew what was happening, Rey’s fingers reached up and traced the middle of the scar. You froze, staring at her hand as she let her fingertips ghost across the edges of the scar, close to the gentle swell of your breasts where no other person had touched you before with such gentleness in your life. Holy fuck what was happening?
“You can join me,” The words were out before you knew it. Almost instantly, Rey looked up to meet your wide eyes and ripped her hand from your chest like you physically hurt her. “I-in the spring, I mean… No reason for you to come back, we can just keep our distance, right?”
Rey gave a little nod, very quickly jumping up as she undid the belt around her waist. You took a deep breath, standing up and pushing down your underwear before slowly stepping into the spring. Wading into the water until it was up to your waist, you sighed and fell back into the water with an audible splash. “I can’t begin to tell you how good this feels.”
“It’s pretty amazing,” You heard the water ripple nearby and against your better judgement, you glanced up and felt your breath leave your throat. Fuck…
Rey, in your opinion, was the definition of lithe goddess. She was thin, agile looking, covered in scars with strong thighs and sun damaged skin. The flesh on her hands and cheeks was darker than the rest of her body, which was just as gorgeous. Gentle curves and tight muscles, small freckles decorating her upper thighs and over her arms that got darker in the sunlight. Supple breasts that looked as soft as clouds, and a smile that could pacify fucking anybody.
“I am from a desert world… water was scarce, so to literally lie in it feels so bizarre to me,” Rey was not keeping good on the ‘keep distance’ suggestion, almost three feet away from you as you simply floated on the surface of the water. Like this, she could see literally every single inch of you… You noticed that Rey was definitely a starer. If she was fascinated with something, she looked and did not look away. And that was now you.
“Where are you from, Rey?” You asked, genuinely curious as you gently moved your arm to keep yourself centered in place.
“Nowhere special… Jakku, a junkyard world.”
You frowned. “I’ve heard about that place… Is it truly as hot as they say?”
Rey chuckled, swimming up a little closer. “You have no idea… degrees would easily reach boiling points when the sun was at its highest peak. And rotations lasted four hours longer there than here.”
“How did you survive there?”
It was Rey’s turn to answer questions now, and for some reason, she was happy to indulge you. “I was a scavenger most of my life. Spent days digging through the wrecks left behind by the wars and selling what I could to a really nasty man.”
You slowly sat up from the water, droplets dripping down from your hair as you looked into her eyes to try and offer some sort of comfort, even if it didn’t seem like she was asking for it. You knew how hard things could be on your own, and it seemed like Rey was alone for most of her life. “How did you end up here?”
Rey laughed, and the smile on her face was infectious. “Finn… He crashed into my life and pulled me out. He’s one of the nicest, most caring people I have ever known, my best friend through and through.”
You smiled a little, even if it was a melancholy smile. “He seems like a great person.”
For many moments, you two didn’t say anything. You just existed within each other’s presences as you ran your hands across your head to rinse out the grime of the many rotations gone without a shower of any kind.
It wasn’t until Rey cleared her throat that you spoke up. “Thank you all… for taking me in so easily. I know it isn’t easy to trust someone like me, and I know it feels weird… But thank you, for trusting me.”
“I couldn’t sense a reason not to,” Rey got even closer. At this distance, you could smell the motor oil that was somewhat stained on her skin. The way the sun caught her eyes through the trees was just enough to cast a warm green tint to her irises. Your heart skipped a beat for a brief second as you watched her take her hair down and tilt her head back to rinse it off. “We were all lost at some point.”
You nodded a little absently, lifting your hands up and rubbing your fingers across the callouses built into your palms from weightlifting and heavy weapon usage. It was clear Rey wanted to ask something, staring at you with an intense focus that made you shrink backwards like a wounded animal.
“There’s a place for you here, you know…” Rey said gently, pulling you out of your daze. “If you want it. A fresh start, a new life away from the First Order.”
A sigh left your throat. “I doubt I can offer the Resistance anything of value.”
Rey pressed a hand against your face again, the warm water dripping from her palm and down the side of your neck. She had this look, this gentle calming expression that just made you melt like ice in the hot sun. You leaned into her touch almost instinctively.
“I believe you would be a highly valuable addition to the Resistance,” Her thumb stroked against your cheekbone, and it sent shivers down your spine. “Everyone has something to offer.”
“Even a deserter like me?”
“Especially a deserter like you. Finn’s job in the First Order was sanitation… You were a captain. You have experience that is highly valuable for all of the Resistance.”
You submitted, nodding your head and without realizing it, you got even closer to her in the water. Rey could feel the heat of your body even through the water as the distance between you two was mere inches. She could feel you through and through, and you knew that she was using the Force to reach out for you.
The intrusion was less terrifying this time. Her presence in your head was now a gentle caress, soft and featherlight against your mind while breaching your darkest feelings and thoughts. Rey sensed no hostility in you, nor any darkness that would be considered dangerous. Just your haunting memories and how you went from a soldier to a victim.
You breathed slowly through your nose and felt Rey press her forehead against your own. You closed your eyes and sighed softly. “Are you like this with every new recruit?”
Rey gave a soft chuckle, closing her own eyes and feeding into your presence. “No one has an energy that you have.”
“Energy? What do you mean?”
Rey exhaled, shaky and with a slight whine in her tone. You could almost feel the inside of her mind with how she was latched onto the inside of your brain, digging into you and making a home inside of your deepest thoughts and the sweet touch of your soul.
“It’s hard to explain… You feel safe… Like a part of me has always known you,” Her voice was barely above a whisper. You reached out and carefully placed your hands against her hips under the water, feeling how she jolted like you physically shocked her, but didn’t attempt to pull you away.
“I thought you were doing that… with the Force, and all,” You mumbled, fingers gently digging into her skin. “I don’t know that I’ve ever felt this instant connection with anybody.”
“It could definitely be the Force, but it isn’t me doing it,” Rey smiled nervously. “Maybe our souls know each other.”
“Maybe… But who am I to argue with a Jedi?”
You both stayed like that for a good while. Neither of you moved from your spots in the water as you both simply existed with each other, your fingers rubbing circles against her waist and her thumbs sliding back and forth along your cheeks. Her presence in your head was comfortable, and you didn’t want to feel it go any time soon.
And this was a different connection than anything Rey had felt in the past. Before, it was a sudden bridge forming between her and the enemy. Snoke merging two minds in order to try and take control of Rey and see the secrets kept. But this? It was nothing but you, her, and the Force creating a bond that transcended reasoning.
Rey had sensed you the second you entered the atmosphere of the moon. A small disturbance in the Force that drew her to your location. She was terrified at first, but when she could feel your faint heartbeat through the Force, she knew… She knew there was something special about you. Rey saved you from the fire.
You sighed softly, your mouth moving quicker than your brain. Rey must have raced down your mind just right because you were uttering out words you didn’t intend to ever share with her. “I’ve never kissed a Jedi before…”
Rey didn’t even flinch. Her brows creased against your forehead and she giggled. “I’m not going to stop you, if that’s what you’re worried about.”
“Rey, this is,” You swallowed, looking up and pulling your head away just enough to meet her hazel eyes. She was almost upset that you pulled away from her. “This is happening extremely fast. I mean, we literally j-just met and I mean, I barely know you and you barely know me, I don’t—”
“Hey, hey,” Rey continued to hold your face, pulling your head back down to press her forehead against yours. You whined pitifully, much to her amusement. “It’s like you said… You’ve never felt this connection before. Who’s to say what we do isn’t the logical next step?”
“I don’t even know your family name…” You muttered weakly, almost like you didn’t have the strength to fight it.
Rey laughed, and it was loud. “It’s all right, neither do I…”
It would have been easy to kiss her… you two were practically almost there anyway. Rey gently rubbed her nose against yours, her breath hot and panting against your face as she slid one hand to the back of your neck while the other continued to cradle your face. She inhaled hard at feeling your fingertips bite against the crease in her sides towards her spine, bending her forward until you felt her chest pressing against your own.
You felt your heart slow down. Literally. Your heartbeat stilled and took your breath away until it synced up with the rhythm of her own beating heart. It was like you two were mending into the same Force signature. Your breath synced with Rey’s, your heartbeat, your thoughts, your soft touches—what the fuck was going on?
“Rey, I…” You said softly, feeling her thumb rub against your bottom lip for a second before she started to lean in.
But the sound of a twig snapping broke the atmosphere around you both. You two were no longer the only two people in the universe. On instinct, you grabbed her hard and pulled her close, wrapping a protective arm around the woman who was fully capable of defending herself, and growled in the distance.
“Who’s out there!?” You shouted, voice deep and aggressive. Rey blinked, looking up at you and realizing that she should have expected a reaction like this from someone like you.
You saw Finn stumbling out of the bushes, with a hand over his eyes and nervous laughter filling the air. “Sorry! I didn’t see anything, was just… Rey, General Organa was looking for you, apparently you are uh… late for training?”
Rey visibly flinched behind you, clearly embarrassed at how long she spent just holding you like a lifeline in the water. “I’ll be right there!”
“Great!” Finn cleared his throat and turned around, tripping over the bushes as he went. It wasn’t until his footsteps faded away that you began to relax, pulling your arm away from Rey and looking down at her bright red face.
She chuckled nervously. “I completely lost track of time.”
“I’m sure I’m slightly to blame,” You smiled nervously, reaching out and gently pushing a stray lock of brown hair away from her forehead. She reacted like a magnet to your touch, leaning forward and looking up at you, staring shamelessly at your body that was dripping wet, solid as steel, and like you were a beautiful work of art. No one had ever looked at you like this and you could feel your knees wobbling nervously. “You’d better go.”
When Rey stood up from the water, you choked on your breath at seeing her nude form all over again. The water cascaded down her skin in waves, highlighting the muscle of her arms and the curve of her ass in a way that you never noticed before until you witnessed the way her every step had the water rippling around her. Not to mention she was fucking beautiful from every angle, especially from behind.
Your insides flipped as she pulled a towel out from her bag, drying off her skin as slowly as possible while you just stared, admiring her from in the water and wiping away the small amount of drool that dripped from your lips.
The disappointment was all over your face when she got dressed, leaving you standing there in the water alone. “Shall we continue this talk another time?”
You were in some kind of half-catatonic state, staring blatantly at the Jedi and only responding with a very stupid “…What?”
Rey laughed, showing off all her smile at once and her face crinkling in a way that was simply adorable before she walked off towards the base over the hill. That slight bounce in her walk, how she looked down when she moved, and the way the muscles of her legs flexed in her pants… You nearly fell over in the water again.
After only five more minutes, you crawled out of the spring and redressed yourself, walking towards the base with damp hair and a racing heart. As you clumsily tried to find your way through the setup of the place, you saw Poe and Finn sitting by a terminal, looking over something before they glanced up at you.
Poe looked off in the other direction before looking back at you, almost like he was connecting the dots in his head. “Were you and Rey just…”
“They sure were…” Finn smirked, much to your embarrassment.
You put both hands on your face and sighed. “Look, nothing happened, we were just—”
“For sure, nothing happened, just Rey trying to climb inside of your skin,” Finn didn’t even look up when he said it. You gaped at him.
“You said you didn’t look!”
He immediately started laughing, bending over and covering his mouth like it was the most hilarious thing in the entire galaxy. You felt beyond mortified as you looked at Poe who was sharing his friend’s humor with a chuckle of his own.
“New girl’s got moves, I see.”
“I should have stayed in that TIE fighter when it blew up.”
