No idea what is wrong with “overjoyed to hear about”. It’s not the one about not ending a sentence in a preposition, given the replacement keeps that in tact.

please dear gods I am begging you all to learn how to use the word bias in a sentence, it is driving me up a wall the way so many of you think the word works. A person is biased or has a bias or a news outlet has a bias or is biased. They are not "bias". Bias is a noun. Biased is a descriptor of the state wherein someone has an obvious agenda and/or reason for viewing things the way they do. Thank you for coming to my TED talk and use the word right. Please.

The move to two sentence -- a sentence and incomplete sentence -- is a bit odd. I guess they need to highlight the surprise of "With a Girl!" .
I quite like the elided sentence-heading subject. I doubt it's a recent form. It's what we do with basically every imperative sentence, right?
