Evocation! Here is an Enochian table of practice, an Enochian circle (obviously Goetia/Lemegeton based in design), a Sigil Dei Aemeth, 2 black obsidian skrying mirrors, and an incense burner.  The background is just sort of fun with photoshop, not related to Enochian.  The background is a handdone Grand Grimoire.

What does every practitioner want the most? Rare and hard to find books mostly :D. Humots must have a VERY long queue!!!! Hopefully for his sake he gets more interesting requests than just some random book that anyone can find on amazon. Humots is a Daemon from the Grimoirum Verum grimoire, which states that he can bring you any book ;). John Dee could have called him back when he was looking for his book of Soyga! There is always some illusive book that we are hunting for, sometimes for year on end, and he can help. I have found though that with some books where there are only a handful of copies in the word (at most) that you do end up with a PDF of the book instead. This was before PDFs were common or popular that it happened to me. 

Here is something which few too many magicians know about and that is interlibrary loan. You can go to any library, even the smallest small town one, and borrow a book from any library in that country. Library of Congress catalogue for the win!!! Sometimes you have to pay a small fee for shipping to your local branch.. Media mail is really low cost though.  Another good source is to go to your local University library, and they will have a community borrower option (it does cost a yearly fee though) if you are not currently a student or alumni. You can then borrow a book from most other universities, sometimes even international ones, with this membership!

OK no more excuses for the internet being your primary source :D. I did find a very old version of the Hollenzwang in a university library once, a full colour from the early 1800′s version!

What you put into the work, you get out of it. We all have different ways of expressing our magic.  One of my ways is through jewelry, what is yours? :)  We also all have different ways of strengthening our connection and relationship with the beings we work with. Some enjoy singing, dancing, drumming or another musical instrument. Many practitioners connect and express their magic using art in various forms. I have found that some sort of outward expression helps things along.  Though inner work such as meditation, contemplation and reflection are equally important to all areas of the path. One thing you may find is many people telling you that the way you honour the various entities, with art, is wrong. That is just the internet, and perhaps it is not correct in a traditional sense, but you don’t need to show it off publically. The reason people label certain things as incorrect; is so that others don’t get the wrong idea about how the traditional path, magic and beings are supposed to be; that is all. You can also keep your works private between you and your temple/practice.

In the photo, since I do both lost wax casting and silversmithing, I thought it would be fun, and extra strong, to add gemstones to many of my creations :D.  Both humans and Daemons like rubies!  It’s sort of an offering, as well as enhancement in the same pendant.  This is a 2″ sterling silver pendant with a 5mm ruby set onto it.  I have also experimented with doing inlay work using either lapis or ruby, since these seals have raised designs.

Lucifuge Rofocle is awesome to work with :).  He can be found in the Grand Grimoire. He is not the same as Lucifer, at all lol. Some folks have reported problems working with him, so call carefully. One of my strongest group workings was with Lucifuge; everyone who attended the working felt his presence extremely strongly during the working, and for quite some time afterwards. Also some very physical affects were noticed by everyone for a time after the working. Even those who were not usually sensative to energetic changes and so forth, definitely noticed something.

A different group of folks and myself called upon him again during a solar eclipse, during the day.  This wasn’t nearly as strong though as it was a bit of a rushed working, as well as during daylight hours. Rofocle seemed less than thrilled about the lack of a full working.  I have always found him to be friendly enough though. He most definitely has a different demeanor and energy about him than the Goetia Daemons.

The Grimoirum Verum working is also quite a bit different than the Goetia one.  Has anyone else on here worked with Lucifuge yet? How did it go? :)
