🕊️ Un ritorno che sembra leggenda: dopo 112 anni il gipeto ha scelto di nuovo le Alpi piemontesi per nidificare. Non è solo la storia di un rapace, ma il racconto di come la natura, se rispettata, trova sempre la via per rinascere.

August 4th, 2020 Eau Rousse - Lac Djouan, Valsavarenche, Parco Nazionale del Gran Paradiso, Valle D’Aosta, Italia This is a very pleasant day-hike, we walked 17 km (10.6 miles) with an elevation gain of 900 m (2953 feet) without feeling tired at all. The trail starts with a magnificent conifer forest which ends in a wonderful alpine path surrounded by peaks of gray gneiss. The 360° panorama is really breathtaking and the small lake at the end of the trail is so peaceful that it is hard to leave it…
A great week with Jules, who, in one trip managed to conquer his first 4k peak: the Gran Paradiso with its 4061 meters and just two days after added another big medal to his collection, we climbed Mont Blanc in a clear night and reached the top just in time for a beautiful sunrise! Looking forward for more adventures together!!!
Una stupenda settimana con Jules, che, in un solo viaggio è riuscito a conquistare sia il suo primo quattromila: Il Gran Paradiso con i suoi 4061 metri, sia dopo appena due giorni: Il Monte Bianco! Siamo saliti a 4810 metri in una notte tersissima, giusto in tempo per goderci una magnifica alba! Spero di rincontrarti presto per nuove avventure!!!
Just back from a too short three days climbing trip with my wonderful friend @carolinewaregeorge in the Grand Paradiso area, Italy. It was a perfect Chamonix break, and the occasion to discover a wild and really cool place with no cell phone network and no other climbers on the peaks. Not to mentionned the hapiness to get reunited again! I was amazed by the place, all the faces and walls to climb and the good quality rock we got to climb most of the time. We climbed an interesting mixte modern routes and classic routes and definitely enjoyed at the most the classic lines. We climbed a lot in the mist which added a bit of spices but it was only to appreciate more the warm welcome of the @rifugiopontese and the amazing food of @zoiatania when getting back... Préparatifs pour le Grand Paradis, puisque le départ est pour demain ! On rejoint Etienne et Alice ce soir pour un départ matinal vers l'Italie, avec 9h de route qui nous attendent.
On a (presque) réussi à tout faire rentrer dans les sacs, et on sent l'excitation du départ qui monte wouhouuu
